◾️From the causes of deviation after steadfastness◾️
Answered by Shaykh Abu Hamza Hassan bin Muhammed Ba Shu'ayb - may Allah preserve him -
📩🔹Question:
What’s your opinion regarding a sister that used to adhere upon worship from morning until night, who was plentiful in doing voluntary acts of worship and fasting, and she had deep love for the sake of Allah the Most High, then suddenly she left off the prayer and fell into fornication?
After that, she turned back to Allah and repented continuously, but she fell back into that sin again. She believes that the cause of that is the worship she did previously wasn’t sincerely done for the sake of Allah the Most High, seeing as if she was truthful and sincere, Allah would not have led her astray, according to her assumption.
📩🔸Answer:
The causes for deviation are many, and this is from it. And from its greatest causes is a bad environment. So, whoever wishes to maintain upon uprightness and their repentance, they should search for good environments.

Some of the scholars also declared disbelief of Muammar Gaddafi, yet despite that verdict, they didn’t advise the youth of Libya to revolt against him for this very same principle: “if changing an evil will bring about greater evil, then wisdom necessitates what? Remaining upon the first evil”. Yes, because the legislation came with what? It came to ward off evil. This is changing of evil, and what? Minimising it (not enlarging it). You now by your action, will it reduce it? It will only increase it, and the legislation didn’t come for this. The legislation came to actualise benefit and to accomplish it and to ward off evils and eliminate it.
So, now we come out with the conclusion from the enquiry of the questioner, when does it become permissible to revolt upon a ruler? We say: it’s permissible to revolt against this ruler if the scholars, the Rabaniyoon, issued a ruling cited upon evidence that a particular ruler is a disbeliever, an apostate, and there’s available capability of changing him and removing him. As for if there’s no capability and there’s indications pointing to greater evils or harms, then wisdom necessitates to have patience until Allah a decree of Allah comes to pass. This is the speech of Ahlu-Sunnah. As for speech coming from people of desires (who don’t pay attention to the Salafi principles and take advices from the Sunni scholars etc) then we don’t listen to it, rather put your fingers in your ears firmly until you are safe from what? The claims of the people of desires. That is the religion of which we worship Allah with. The same way as we take the religion for the prayer, Sadaqah, Fasting, Hajj, we take the religion the same way for this topic on how we deal with our rulers, and Allah the Most High knows best.
Subhanakallahumma wa bihamdika, ash-hadu an la ilaha illa anta, astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayk.

https://t.me/bashuaiben▪️ What are the circumstances that make revolting against a Muslim ruler permissible?▪️ 🍃Shaykh Hassan bin Muhammed Ba Shu'ayb - May Allah the Most High preserve him🍃 🎙️….the Prophet ﷺ received pledge of allegiance from the companions, like what Ubādah bin As-Sāmit said: “We pledged allegiance to the Messenger ﷺ on hearing and obeying whether it’s at times pleasing and times not so pleasing, and that we don’t dispute the command of its people (the people of authority), except if you see clear cut disbelief of which would be with you proof with Allah (over them)”.The hadith is in Bukhari and Muslim. “We pledged allegiance to the Messenger ﷺ that we will hear and obey”. Which is not to rebel, during pleasing and times not pleasing, through times of difficulty and times of ease, in all circumstances, raised prices, lowered prices, during times of fear, times of safety, times of harmony, times of war, in every situation، in prosperity, in adversity, hearing and obeying is obligatory, in pleasure, in what’s disliked, in hardship, in ease, and that we don’t dispute the command of the people of authority, and we don’t provoke upon him, nor do we dispute his authority of rulership except - the situation being asked about on when revolting becomes permissible. What is this situation? He ﷺ said: “Except if you see from them Kufr Bawāhan”. What’s the meaning of Bawāhan? That which doesn’t carry any interpretation for it. And who issues this ruling that a ruler has committed a disbelief that is Bawāhan? The scholars issue this verdict. And which scholars? (Is it just any so called scholar?!) Which scholars issue a verdict in these matters? The scholars, The Rabāniyoon, the truthful, the advisers to the Ummah, advisers of the religion of Allah. It’s not the Takfiriyoon, the Qutbiyoon, the Khawārij. No, only the scholars of the Sunnah, because the scholars of the Sunnah issue verdicts with evidence, from the Book of Allah, and from the Sunnah of the Messenger ﷺ, upon the understanding of the Salaf, whether it’s in this topic, the topic of rulership and declaring disbelief or other than it from the matters, all of it upon the understanding of the Salaf. They issue a ruling based on the Book and the Sunnah upon the understanding of the Salaf. “Except if you see from them Kufr Bawāhan for which will count as clear proof from Allah”. Not from mere desires. It’s only that which counts as a proof. And where is evidence derived from for Islamic rulings? From the Book and the Sunnah. Only then it becomes permissible to revolt upon what? Upon the ruler. Okay (let’s say now), the ruler disbelieved, then the scholars Rabaniyoon declare the ruler to be a disbeliever, another matter remains, which is what? Capability of removing him. Removal of him is considered what? It’s considered changing an evil, and changing an evil if it will lead to greater evil, then wisdom necessitates what? For example, this ruler of which the scholars have declared disbelief upon, disbelief that exits a person from the religion of Islam cited by evidence, apostate, and the situation makes it permissible to revolt against him but this ruler has power (army, artillery, planes etc) and he is a tyrant (resistant for removal) and he has force. If people stood against him and they don’t have preparation that can face what this ruler has of power, if they revolt against him, he will assault them whereby blood will get shed. And perhaps they may violate honours and demand wealth, and whatever that achieves whatever they want. So, wisdom in this situation requires what? Revolting?! Wisdom here would require what? Patience until Allah decrees a matter that comes to pass. During the time of the Imāms, the Imāms of the recent times, Albaani, bin Baz, they declared some rulers as disbelievers, the likes of Saddam Hussein, they explicitly declared disbelief of him. Bin Baz was clear in declaring disbelief of him and despite that, he didn’t advice the youth of Iraq to revolt revolt against him. Why? He was someone of force and strength.

◾️The condition of the Hadith on the remembrance for entering the market place◾️

All praise is for Allah Lord of the Alamin, and I testify none has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone without any partners, and I testify that Muhammed is His slave and Messenger, ﷺ.
As for what proceeds, O people, it’s come in Saheehayn from the Hadith of Abdullahi Ibn Umar, May Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet ﷺ said: All of you are shepherds and each of you is responsible for his flock. The Imām is a shepherd and is responsible for his subjects, and a man is a shepherd of his family and he is responsible for them, and a woman is a shepherdess of her husband’s home (and his children) and she is responsible for them. And a servant of a man is a guardian of the wealth of his master and he is responsible for it.
All of you are shepherds, and each of you is responsible for his flock. O Fathers! Are we undertaking this responsibility?! The people of knowledge mention that he who does not upkeep to this trust and doesn’t tend to this trust and doesn’t maintain sincerity for it, he is punished in this life and the Hereafter. As for the Hereafter, then you have heard that severe threat, that he who dies and doesn’t maintain advice over his flock, he will not smell the fragrance of paradise. And as for the worldly life, the people of knowledge say that from these punishments is that Allah will trial a person with disobedience coming from these children, prompt punishment, except those who Allah wills not for. And this is what we find currently taking place. How many fathers when they are advised in this regard they say “My son doesn’t listen to me, and when he is advised concerning his daughter he says “My daughter behaves as she wants and leaves the house without my permission”.
And the mother when she is advised concerning her children, she gives the same types of responses. It is a complete utter failure, utter failure of children on the part of the parents. The matter requires rescuing, the matter is critical, yes by Allah very serious, especially concerning these devices. The matters requires for us to be even more watchful over our children, to follow up on our children, even our wives. Rather, prevent these devices, prevent them if you are a diligent man, prevent these devices, smart phones, prevent it from your wife, prevent it from your daughter, prevent it from your small sons. If you want, prevent it even from the elder ones, be safe, and there’s nothing like having safety.
And HasbunAllah wa Ni’mal Wakeel.

Therefore, from the first fundamentals which determines the success of this school is choosing a righteous wife. Then from these fundamentals is that the female teacher and the supervisor of this school are good role models. That’s because these students will absorb from the mannerisms of the teachers more so than what they benefit from their words and their directions, especially during the early stages of study.
Thus, the small child will nurture upon absorbing the mannerism/tendencies of his father and his mother. He will behave according to the behaviour he sees from his father and mother, he will nurture upon the wordings he hears from his father and mother, he will closely copy them in their movements and their non movements, and in every matter. Therefore, we are required to be good role models for our children, otherwise we would be cheating them, cheating them and betraying the trust, Yes by Allah.
Our Prophet ﷺ said as what’s found in Saheehayn from the Hadith of Ma’qil bin Yasaar: Whoever Allah makes in charge over subjects without being with them upon sincerity, and he dies (in this manner) except Allah will prohibit paradise for him. And in another narration: Whoever Allah makes in charge over a flock and dies having betrayed his flock will not smell the fragrance of paradise. A severe punishment in the Hereafter, he doesn’t smell the fragrance of paradise because he cheated this flock. He betrayed his trust, he betrayed his trust, he didn’t upkeep to advice over those whom Allah made him in charge of. He dies whilst having betrayed them, so this is a severe punishment.
O people, the reality is saddening, the eyes sheds tears, and the heart saddens from what we hear and witness. Homes get destroyed due to the weakness of fulfilling this trust. Homes ruin and destroy except those who Allah has mercy upon. Many sons get wasted, many daughters get wasted due to the negligence of the parents. Some men are so negligent over their wives until she doesn’t have regard for anything except being busied with her mobile phone and texting whilst her children are behind her who also have mobile phones or a gadget and each being a customer to it. Matters that which makes the forehead sweat, we ask Allah for safety.
https://t.me/bashuaiben🎙️ Warning Fathers to uphold the trust they have over their children” ▪️The mother is a school, who will study at this school?▪️ 🍃Jumu’ah Khutbah by Shaykh Hassan Ba Shu'ayb - May Allah the Most High preserve him 🍃 Indeed all praise is for Allah, we praise Him, Seek His aid, and seek His forgiveness. And we seek refuge with Allah from the evils of our souls and the evils of our actions, whoever Allah guides then none can misguide them, and whoever He misguides then there’s none that can guide them. And I testify there’s none that has the right of worship except Allah, alone without any partners, and I testify that Muhammed is His slave and His Messenger ﷺ. As for what proceeds: O people, our Lord blessed be He, the Most High, says in His Book Al-Hakim. Verily! Allah commands that you should render back the trusts to those, to whom they are due. The verse. And He Jala wa Ala says: Let the one who is entrusted discharge his trust (faithfully), and let him be afraid of Allah, his Lord. And Amānah (Trust), the definition of it, is as what the people of knowledge say: It is affairs that are identified by what is opposite to it. So, Amānah the opposite of it is betrayal, opposite to it is cheating. Thus, Amānah is fulfilling of a covenant, it is preservation of a trust of what a trustee has been entrusted with and fulfilling it to its people, therefore the virtue of it is great. Al-Amānah, the believers have been described with it, and the opposite of it has been applied to hypocrites, like what’s come in a Sahih Hadith agreed upon that: The signs of a hypocrite is three, when he speaks he lies, when he promises he breaks his promise, and when he’s trusted he betrays. When he is entrusted with a matter he betrays his promise and doesn’t safeguard his trust, he doesn’t shield it. And the trusts are many but we O slaves of Allah will take or speak on a particular one from them, and that is the trust regarding children, the trust over children. And what will make you know the (magnitude) of this trust? For verily, many people have become lax concerning this. In-fact if a person were to consider the current state of affairs, they will find that many people neglect their children and made loss of this trust. Whilst the Islamic legislation orders the man to uphold this trust even before its gets consigned to him. How’s this? The answer, he begins (the preparation of) upholding this trust before he even procreates. He begins this trust before he even gets married, and that’s by choosing a righteous wife. This is from (the very early steps a person takes to) upholding the trust of your children who are still in your loins and haven’t yet come into existence. How’s this? This wife will be the mother of your children, so if she is void of manners, destitute of religiosity, your children will most likely be the same, except He who Allah wills not. That’s because a person that’s deprived of something cannot give. It’s come in Saheehayn, from the Hadith of Abu Hurairah, May Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet ﷺ said: “A woman is married for four reasons: for her beauty, her wealth, her lineage, and her religion. Then he ﷺ said: Choose the one with religion, may your hands be rubbed with dust”. Thus, the mother is a school, the mother is a school. Who will study at this school O man, O husband, O father? Who will study at this school? Your brothers? No. Who will learn at this school? Your children are the ones who will study there. Your children will nurture in this school. What is the creed being taught in this school? What religion will they study in this school? What character? What mannerism will the children learn in this school found with this mother? And who is the responsible supervisor of this school? You O father.

….they don’t fall in prohibitions, they don’t fall in usury and make ploys for it except due to ignorance. They don’t waste their prayers, except due to ignorance. Yes, O people, a father doesn’t waste his children, except due to his ignorance. He’s not negligent concerning his family, except due to his ignorance. A son (or daughter) doesn’t fall short in the right of his parents except due to his ignorance. A man doesn’t mistreat his neighbour except due to his ignorance. A person doesn’t neglect the right of kinship except due to his ignorance. A person doesn’t fall into acts of Shirk except due to his ignorance. They don’t engage in nonsense and superstitions except due to ignorance. Yes, a person doesn’t deviate from the Sunnah and go towards Hizbiyyah except due to his ignorance. A person doesn’t fall into the various other sins, except due to his ignorance.
And none remain upright from those who are upright (after the success from Allah) except due to their knowledge, except due to being close to the people of knowledge, and to the sittings of knowledge. So you see they get quenched therein (from the fountains of knowledge) and truly lives a life and Allah gives them a good life. They increase in fear of Allah, they increase in awe of Allah, The Most Glorious, The Most High. [Quran]: It is only those who have knowledge among His slaves that fear Allah.
[Quran] Verily! Those who were given knowledge before it, when it is recited to them, fall down on their faces in humble prostration." And they say: "Glory be to our Lord! Truly, the Promise of our Lord must be fulfilled." And they fall down on their faces weeping and it adds to their humility. This is because of knowledge. Yes, they (the people of knowledge) become people who are regarded and esteemed amongst the people, they’re mentioned with good words and they are directed to and pointed towards.
[Quran] Allah will exalt in degree those of you who believe, and those who have been granted knowledge.
[Quran] Say: "Are those who know equal to those who know not?" It is only men of understanding who will remember.
And all praise be to Allah, Lord of Alamin.

….that a slave is in need of learning his religion and have understanding of it. Why? The answer, in order for him to worship his Lord Jala wa Ala upon insight, upon proof. With this knowledge, a person comes to recognise what’s required of them in this life. They come to recognise the Halal from the Haram, they come to recognise the correct creed from creed that is false. They gain understanding to what brings a person closer to Allah from what distances a person from Allah. They gain understanding of beneficial matters that which will reciprocate for him good in his religion and worldly life; and distancing from harmful matters that will reciprocate for him evil in his worldly life and Hereafter. All of that doesn’t come except with having knowledge. For this reason, the Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever Allah wants good for, He grants him understanding in the religion”. Hadith of Muaawiyyah, may Allah be pleased with him, in Saheehayn. It’s understood from this Hadith that whoever Allah doesn’t want good for, He doesn’t grant him understanding in the religion. And a cause of our falling into evils is ignorance, whether it’s simple ignorance or compound ignorance.
