My dear young people, life is more than fulfilling one's needs. It is about meaning and purpose. Hence, you have to seriously discern what God is calling you to in your life. Unless you discover your vocation and live it out freely and passionately, your soul will never be truly satisfied. What you want to do is a hobby. But if it is a calling, it will persevere right to the end regardless of the sacrifices you have to make because you are working for God not for anyone else, nor yourself. No amount of studies or material success can compare to a vocation discovered and lived out to the fullest for the glory of God. It is also in the discernment of your vocation not to dismiss the possibility that God is calling you into priestly and religious life. We must be receptive to the call of God to serve Him in any way.
