[Summer Booking of RC4 Facilities] Hi RC4! If you would like to book RC4 facilities from now till 26 July 2026, please follow the instructions in this document! For availabilities of the respective venues, please refer to this link. The facilities available for booking are - MPSH - TRs 1, 2 and 4 (TR3 is reserved for RC4ME) Additionally, please be reminded that usage of the MPSH without a valid booking is considered unauthorized and will result in disciplinary sanctions. 2	[Co-Option for 12th Sports Director] Dear Residents, The Co-option dialogue and election for Sports Director has concluded. Members of 11th and 12th CSC & House Heads voted after co-option. Total eligible voters: 28 Total votes cast: 26 93% voting. As per the CSC Co-Option Quorum & Minimal Approval Rating Subclause 4.5.2, the quorum required for this Co-Option is 70% and has been met. Results: Candidate, Ivie Poh Yong Qi, got 11 out of 26 votes, 42% approval rating. Candidate, Oh Jia Xi, got 11 out of 26 votes, 42% approval rating. Vote of no confidence got 4 out of 26 votes, 15% approval rating. As per the CSC Co-Option Quorum & Minimal Approval Rating Subclause 4.5.2, the contestant with the higher approval rating is declared the winner, provided that the number of votes meets the quorum. However, since the voting has resulted in a tie, Co-Option Tiebreaker Subclause 4.5.3 has been activated. The member from the newly elected committee with the highest position within the presidential cell (Chua Jun En, Desiree, President) has been given the choice to execute a second vote. After careful discussions with her committee, they have decided to cast this second vote on candidate Ivie Poh Yong Qi. Henceforth, Ivie Poh Yong Qi will be the Sports Director for the 12th CSC.	578

11	🎙 𝟑 𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐬. 𝟏 𝐬𝐞𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐨 𝐚𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐬𝐤. 𝟎 𝐫𝐞𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬. 🎤⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ For the first time on Intrigued to Innovate, I didn't write the questions. You did.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ We put out a call for the questions young innovators carry quietly but are almost too afraid to say out loud — and you delivered. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ To answer them, I brought together 3 people who know this journey from very different seats: an NUS iDP alum and founder who built and scaled a real company (𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐧𝐮 𝐒𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧), a final-year student still in the thick of it (𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐢 𝐑𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐧), and an educator who's rescued more student teams than anyone I know (𝐃𝐫 𝐄𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐭 𝐋𝐚𝐰). ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ This was an episode I'd wanted to make for a long time. Sitting across from 3 people willing to answer honestly — not the polished version — reminded me why I teach. The questions you're most afraid to ask out loud are almost always the most important ones in the room.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ Here's just one moment that stuck with me. I asked Vishwa Sabarinathan's question about what it actually means to have your prototype "validated," and the founder and the student split hard:⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ → Vishnu: "Doing POCs for free is the easiest way to get fake validation." 𝐔𝐒$𝟐.𝟔𝐌 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐧 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐲 🚀⁣ ⁣ Armaan Dhanda & Samyak Baid started as 2 Indian international students at NUS — no SIM cards, no lab access, no funding.⁣ ⁣ Just a shared conviction: what if you could brew the world's most valuable ingredients in a tank, just like beer?⁣ ⁣ 3 years later, they have taken a leave of absence from university, raised US$2.6 million from Silicon Valley investors, won the 2025 MIT Water, Food & Agriculture Innovation Prize, and secured a paid pilot with Mars Petcare — one of the world's largest pet care companies.⁣ ⁣ Oh, and they built it all on the back of their NUS iDP project.⁣ ⁣ As someone who watched this unfold from day 1, I'll be honest — I didn't see this coming. But sitting across from them in the studio, I couldn't be prouder. ⁣ ⁣ This is exactly why I teach.
