$BTC longs just hit January levels. Last time this happened, price dropped 35% in three weeks. Last time it spiked this high, price dropped from 95K to 62K within weeks. • Sentiment at the highest bar on the 5-month chart • Entire 62K-82K recovery showed negative sentiment • Only one prior spike of this magnitude: right at the cycle top 🎓 Markets move opposite to retail positioning. Longs are the most crowded they've been since the January peak. Extremes like this don't mark continuation. They mark reversals. CVD: • Spot: -251M, sustained decline (left chart) • Perp: -1.36B, no reversal attempt (right chart) Funding Rate: +0.0062% - longs paying, no capitulation yet Order Book Depth: • Spot delta: -825 (ask-side dominant) • Perp delta: -798 (ask-side dominant) The heatmap shows a dense liquidity wall 78.5K to 79K above. Some bids are visible around 76K. Coinbase Premium: -0.07% - US buyers absent. Positive funding with falling CVD means trapped longs.
