$BTC ripped from 63K to 65K. Spot led, perps followed. - Spot CVD (Binance, 15m): +202.28M, climbing steadily off 63K - Perp CVD (Binance Futures, 15m): +323.26M, flipped positive only after 64K broke - Coinbase Premium: -0.09%, negative the entire rally - Funding: 0.0052%, low and stable. No leverage buildup Spot buyers drove this. Negative Coinbase premium means it wasn't US-based. Perp longs jumped in after 64K cleared, pushing funding higher. Price cooled to 64K but neither CVD rolled over. Nobody's taking profit yet. The move started on real spot demand. But Coinbase premium never flipped positive. $BTC dropped to 63K this week, and one flow reversal explains most of it. US spot ETFs flipped from +865M inflows to -385M outflows within days. The cohorts are splitting hard: - STH are capitulating. LTH/STH SOPR sits at 0.8, inside the same band that flagged 2015, 2019, and 2022-23 - Wallets holding 100+ BTC added 54K BTC since mid-June. LTH aren't budging Price is stuck below STH cost basis (67K) and ETF cost basis (71K), but the LTH floor holds at 49K. That gap is what keeps this move corrective, not structural, at least for now.
