IIt takes a special kind of arrogant hubris to lecture Canadians about what Canada “needs” as a foreigner. To take the opportunity this country gave you and recast it as a sob story, or worse, portray yourself as a “gift to Canada”is an extraordinary display of ingratitude. We have allowed people to position themselves within our institutions, including Parliament, and influence the very rules that govern our country, sometimes in ways that further exploit systems from which they have already benefited.
