| 8 | Hiiii X-ERS🔥,
Want to come down this Wednesday but not sure what Mid-Autumn Festival (MAF) is? 🌙 🥮
WE GOT YOU! MAF, also known as mooncake festival, is a traditional celebration in Chinese and other Asian cultures that symbolizes family reunion🧑🧑🧒🧒, gratitude, and completeness😊.
The festival falls on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month when the moon is at its fullest and brightest, for this year, IT IS ON 25TH SEPTEMBER!! THIS FRIDAY😋.
In Chinese culture, a round full moon 🌕 represents togetherness and unity, making it a time for families to gather. In this case, it's a chance for us x-ers to bond and foster new friendships with each other‼️
Fun fact, this celebration is closely tied to the tale, Chang'e, the legendary goddess of the moon who floated upward after drinking an elixir of immortality.
You may be wondering why mooncakes🥮, well, their round shape represents the full moon and displays completeness!!
Hope we have piqued your interest on MAF AND SEE YOU TOMORROW AT 7PM🌝 at the comms hall!!
REMEMBER TO SIGN UP :>
Feel free to pm @gazlxang and @cxlyr for any questions :>> | 944 |
