📌 What is Earth’s Energy Imbalance (EEI)?
🔸 Core Definition: It is the fundamental metric of climate change. EEI is the exact mathematical difference between the incoming solar energy (short-wave radiation) absorbed by the Earth and the outgoing thermal infrared energy (long-wave radiation) radiated back into space.
