Provisional Answer Key for Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination – 2026, soon after the Conduct of Examination

In a world where many people try to pull us down with negativity, doubt, comparison, and criticism, we must learn to rise above it all. Just like an eagle flies high above storms, we too should keep our focus on our goals, values, and dreams. Eagles do not waste their energy fighting every crow around them.... they simply fly higher until the noise disappears. Life will always test our patience and strength. Some people may underestimate us, some may laugh at our struggles, and some may try to distract us from our path. But true growth begins when we stop seeking approval and start believing in our own potential. Every challenge becomes a lesson, every failure becomes preparation, and every setback becomes fuel to rise stronger. Fly so high with discipline, hard work, self-respect and consistency that negativity can no longer reach you. Let your success, character, and determination speak louder than words. Because the strongest people are not the ones who never face opposition.... they are the ones who keep rising despite it. Be like an eagle.... fearless in vision, calm in storms, and untouchable in height.

The most humbling, yet heartbreaking experiment I ever tried was introducing myself as an absolute nobody. You feel a quiet sting in your chest as people's eyes drift past you the exact moment they realize you aren't "useful" to their lives. But the profound comfort of finding that one person who stays, who speaks to you with warmth when you are completely invisible, is unforgettable. It strips away all illusions, proving that a person's true soul is only ever revealed when they have absolutely nothing to gain from you.

re-examination of NEET (UG) 2026 on Sunday, 21 June 2026

"10 Days" Right now, you are probably sitting alone, looking at a mountain of revision notes, and wondering if you have done enough. The late-night isolation is loud. The fear of forgetting everything you’ve read is real. But listen carefully: The panic you feel right now is lying to you. You know more than you think you do. The final 10 days are not about learning everything new; they are about consolidating your hard work and keeping your mind calm. Do not burn yourself out in the dark. If you are exhausted, sleep. Consistency is about showing up every day, not destroying yourself tonight. Take a deep breath. You are in the final stretch. Keep going."

Some battles are meant to be fought alone. The world often pretends to care, but only a few people truly stand beside you when you are struggling, confused, tired and still trying. Value those people. They are rare... hold them close. And for everyone else who leaves? Let them go peacefully. Because your journey is never dependent on the crowd. It is built on your courage, your patience and the strength to keep moving even when nobody claps for you. Keep walking forward with the ones who genuinely support your growth.... even if the road becomes lonely for some time, never stop moving. Sometimes the strongest people are created in the phases where they had nobody except their own determination.

relims Fact): India added a record 44 GW of solar capacity in 2025, taking the total installed capacity to 150 GW, driven by the PM Surya Ghar and Production Linked Incentive (PLI) schemes . Gold Monetisation Scheme (GMS): To reduce forex outflow on gold imports without destroying market demand, the jewellery sector has advocated for revitalizing the Gold Monetisation Scheme to mobilize idle household gold into the formal economy . Science & Technology, Environment & Security (GS Paper 3) International Big Cat Alliance (IBCA): Spearheaded by India, the IBCA is set to hold its first summit with 24 member countries . China is unlikely to join due to its extremely small wild tiger population (mostly Amur/Siberian tigers) . Artificial Earthquakes (Seismology): In a pioneering experiment beneath the Swiss Alps (BedrettoLab), scientists successfully injected water into geological faults to trigger thousands of tiny, "controlled" earthquakes . This research aims to understand deep-earth mechanics to better predict and mitigate the risks of major natural earthquakes . Climate Change & Active Transport: New global health research emphasizes integrating physical activity with climate change adaptation . Promoting "active transport" (walking and cycling) over car use not only tackles the global inactivity crisis (which causes 5 million deaths annually) but also helps reduce emissions . Tech Regulation (Prelims/Mains): Apple agreed to a $250 million settlement in the U.S. over a class-action lawsuit for misleading advertising regarding Siri's AI capabilities, highlighting growing regulatory and consumer pushback against unverified "AI hype" . Internal Security: The West Bengal Cabinet has decided to transfer land to the Border Security Force (BSF) to erect fencing along the Bangladesh border . History, Art & Culture, and Society (GS Paper 1) Bhimbetka Cave Art (Prelims/Mains): Recent excavations at Bhimbetka (Madhya Pradesh) show that Mesolithic humans (circa 10,000 years ago) used woven baskets to carry fruits, animals, and children . Evidence also indicates their dynamic art style eventually became more static due to contact with agricultural Chalcolithic communities . Magna Carta (1215): An editorial reflects on the Magna Carta, sealed by King John at Runnymede, which established the foundational democratic principle that executive power is subject to checks and balances, and rulers are subservient to the "rule of law" . Youth Aspirations vs. Attainments: The State of Working India Report 2026 highlights a significant divergence between high educational aspirations and actual outcomes . It notes structural barriers where boys often drop out to enter the labour market, while girls are forced to drop out primarily due to marriag

12 May TH Summary Polity, Governance, & Social Justice (GS Paper 2) MGNREGA Replaced by VB-GRAM G (Highly Important): The Union Government has officially notified that the MGNREGA rules will be repealed on July 1, 2026, and replaced by the Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) [VB-GRAM G] . Key Changes: It increases the statutory employment guarantee from 100 days to 125 days per financial year . The funding model shifts to a 60:40 split between the Centre and the States for most states . Mains Concerns: It introduces a controversial "blackout period" of up to 60 days during peak agricultural seasons to ensure labour for farming, which critics argue undermines workers' bargaining power . E-KYC requirements remain a significant hurdle for millions . Solid Waste Management Rules, 2026: New rules effective April 1, 2026, aim to reduce landfill dependence, integrate rural areas into material recovery frameworks, and promote a circular economy . However, experts criticize the rules for violating the principle of federalism and subsidiarity . By prescribing a rigid, centralized "one-size-fits-all" model for diverse geographies, it treats States and local bodies merely as implementing agencies, ignoring local capacities . Labour Codes Operationalized: The Centre has fully implemented the four new Labour Codes (on Wages, Industrial Relations, Social Security, and Occupational Safety) . The opposition has heavily criticized this as a "hire-and-fire" policy implemented without adequate tripartite consultation (Indian Labour Conference) . Schools & Religious Instruction: The Supreme Court is reviewing whether schools that impart religious instruction should be classified under Article 26(a) (religious/charitable bodies) rather than Article 19(1)(g) (right to profession) or Article 30(1) (minority educational institutions) . If brought strictly under Article 26(a), they would be subject to the restrictions of public order, health, and morality . Workplace Harassment (POSH Act): The National Commission for Women (NCW) flagged "zero compliance" with the POSH Act at a corporate office in Nashik, exposing toxic work cultures and the complete absence of formal, trustworthy grievance mechanisms . Judicial Security: The Delhi High Court highlighted the severe lack of security for district court judges, citing the Supreme Court’s earlier stance that the safety of stakeholders in the judicial process is non-negotiable . Role of the Governor: An editorial referencing the S.R. Bommai case reiterated that the floor of the House is the constitutionally ordained forum for testing a Ministry's majority, not the Governor's subjective discretion . International Relations (GS Paper 2) India-Vietnam Strategic Partnership: Vietnamese President Tô Lâm’s visit to India elevated bilateral ties to an "Enhanced Comprehensive Strategic Partnership" . Driven by China's assertiveness in the Indo-Pacific, the partnership focuses on defence cooperation (including potential BrahMos missile transfers), supply chain resilience, rare earth collaboration, and digital payment integration . BRICS & West Asia Diplomacy: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi visited New Delhi to attend the BRICS Foreign Ministers meeting . This engagement is vital as India navigates the economic and energy fallout of the ongoing conflict in West Asia . U.S.-China Relations: U.S. President Donald Trump's visit to Beijing centers around the "three Ts" (Trade, Taiwan, and Technology) . Key topics include U.S. export controls on advanced semiconductors and exploring cooperation in Artificial Intelligence . Economy (GS Paper 3) Economic Impact of West Asia Crisis: Following PM Modi’s appeal for austerity measures (cutting fuel use, gold purchases, and foreign travel) to conserve forex reserves, experts warned that the crisis is severely hurting the economy . Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) face massive under-recoveries approaching ₹2 lakh crore . Consequently, HSBC has slashed India’s FY27 GDP growth estimate sharply down to 6% from 7.4% . Your dreams should terrify you-that's the point. They should rattle your insides and stir something deep in your soul. They should take you outside your comfort zone. They should be the opposite of a sure thing. But that doesn't mean following your dreams has to feel hard or heavy or difficult. Because there's also that feeling- that knowing that this is it. That this is for you. And even on your hardest days, you know, there's nothing more true, nothing more real, no other path that would feel more aligned. Nothing you'd rather fight for than this. So please-find the thing that excites you and terrifies you, that may feel uncertain but also feels real and honest and true. Find the thing that enchants you and mystifies you and compels you to keep walking this beautiful, sacred, unknown path. Find it. Choose it. Believe in it. Honor it. Trust that feeling deep within that knows this is right.

“I choose me.” Not in arrogance, but in self-respect. Not because others don’t matter, but because I do too. I choose my peace over chaos, my growth over comfort, my voice over silent compromises. I will walk away from what drains me, and move toward what builds me. Even if it’s hard. Even if it’s lonely. Because at the end of the day, the only person I’m guaranteed to live with forever… is myself. So today, and every day— I choose me.
