ІІІ Всеукраїнський студентський конкурс присвячений застосуванню Європейської конвенції з прав людини та практики ЄСПЛ у національному судочинстві.
Конкурс відбудеться за сприяння Миколи Гнатовського, судді ЄСПЛ, обраного від України, випускника та викладача нашого Інституту.
💡 До участі запрошуються команди з 2–3 студентів і студенток віком від 18 років, які навчаються на ІІ–IV курсах бакалаврату або І–ІІ курсах магістратури за спеціальностями «Право», «Міжнародне право» чи «Правоохоронна діяльність».

First of all, we would like to sincerely thank everyone who took part in this year’s selection process. We truly appreciate the time, effort, and enthusiasm you brought to the meetings, and it was a pleasure getting to know each of you and hearing your thoughts on investment arbitration and this year’s case.

| 5 | We’re opening the selection process for the Institute of International Relations team for the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition ⚖️🌎
This year, the team will include three experienced students — two with previous Jessup experience and one with experience in other moot court competitions. We are now looking for two more students to join the team and focus on legal research, analysis, information gathering, and preparation of the team’s positions.🔎📚
While they will not compete as speakers this year, this role will provide valuable experience and preparation for oral advocacy in the next Jessup season. ⚖️🎙
The team will be coached by:
• Olha Poiedynok, Ph.D. in Law, Associate Professor, and an expert in international law in national legal systems, focusing on the application of international law in protecting the rights of migrants, foreigners, refugees, and displaced persons.

The Stetson IEMCC is an international moot court competition focused on contemporary issues of international environmental law. • Nataliia Badora – Legal Fellow at the Policy and Legislative Advice Section, Department for Trademarks, Designs and Geographical Indications at WIPO, attorney at law specialising in IP. Nataliia has extensive experience in IP moot courts, including the Oxford IP Moot and the UBA Student League Moot on IP, and has coached and judged teams in moots organised by UBA and ELSA.

The Summer School is a great opportunity to dive into the world of international trade law, learn from great speakers, meet like-minded students, and – if you are interested – take the first step towards joining the KNU team for the John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition.
At the end of the Summer School, we will traditionally hold a selection for the KNU team participating in the John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition. Participation in the selection is completely optional.
Why the John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition?
The John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition is one of the world's leading moot court competitions in international trade law. KNU has a strong tradition of participation, with numerous teams reaching the Global Rounds in Geneva.
And our track record speaks for itself: in 2023-2024, the KNU team became the overall winner of the competition. 🏆
Now, we are looking for the next generation of students who are ready to take on the challenge and continue this legacy.
What Will The Summer School Cover?
Throughout the School, we will explore:
• the history, structure and functioning of the WTO
• the fundamentals of WTO law
• treaty interpretation
• written and oral advocacy.

Anna is a second-year Master's student at the Institute of International Relations. She participated in the Moot Court herself, advancing to the Global Rounds in Geneva, and coached last year's team. Outside of mooting, she works in the International Arbitration Practice at Sayenko Kharenko.
