In 2017 Finland put on some big boy boots in the game of space exploration when it launched its first domestically built satellite 🛰 Aalto-1 was built by some of the brightest students from Aalto University and it was launched into space by the Indian space agency 👩‍🚀 The project created a ripple effect across the Finnish space tech scene and gave birth to a number of startups, including ICEYE ⚡️ Today, the students and professors at Aalto are paving the way for Finlands space tech scene, and there seems to literally be no limit to new heights.
