Update on the INSA Summer Camp 🛡 So I applied for the Cybersecurity track and wanted to know what to expect, so I reached out to Yohannes (someone I met at the Break the Pattern Hackathon) and he came through with the info 🙏 There are two parts to the selection: 1. Psychometric Exam 📝 SAT Math — 20 questions SAT English — 20 questions NAT — 20 questions UAT — 20 questions Image test (Code + IQ) — 20 questions His tip for prep: search "psychometric test" on YouTube, find the topics he listed and go from there. 2. CTF (Capture The Flag) 🚩 This one matters to them too. Best places to practice: TryHackMe — good for getting started HackTheBox — the CTFs they ask are more similar to this one, focus on the medium difficulty section And from what I found on the INSA official channel, the core topics worth knowing are: Linux basics Networking fundamentals Web security basics Cryptography basics Problem-solving Big thank you to Yohannes for being so open and helpful 🤝 Genuinely a cool guy.
