And what would you do if OnePlus does bimonthly updates and often delays them? Cry about it? @OPlusFuckups

Idk if it's good or bad but I'm afraid oneplus will have more bloatware

Fuck yeah i faced mistake only now Instead of slogan i for some reason wrote changelog 😭😭

At least there's no downgrades... Wait, where's the UW sensor? Ah, forgot the new oneplus' slogan "Always settle" @OPlusFuckups

Good evening guys. Yeah it's OnePlus this time. Approximately a year ago, I had bought the OnePlus Buds 3 through the Official OnePlus website (March 2025) Mind you, these buds aren't cheap at all, and they did run okay for a few months until Sept 2025, where the left earbud, randomly started giving low sound. I tried being considerate that this might just be a random defect or whatever and just went to the Service Centre. I told them the case, they took my earphones for a day and said we'll diagnose and let you know. I went in there the next day, and they said "There was some sort of dust and stuff stuck in there, which resulted in some low audio. We've cleaned your product deeply and we're returning it to you" I thought was very weird at first, but then the buds were okay for some time, 2 more months, until Nov 2025, where the same issue happened again. I went to the service centre again, told them that the issue is now repeated, what do I do? They said, give us the earphones again, we'll check them again. I came back in a few hours, and they repeated the same reason. "Sir, There was again dust and stuff stuck in there, which resulted in some low audio. We've cleaned your product deeply and make sure you take care of it this time around. We're returning it to you" Now, I said to their representative that I want to talk to your engineer. The person said, "There are microphones for ANC, and there's a good chance, that the dust is slipping in through those microphones if you're not cleaning them periodically." I asked him what should I be doing and how should I be cleaning them if I'm being wrong somewhere according to them. Now post that, I've been keeping these clean, persistently checking if they're okay, but yeah, things clearly weren't. Cut to 3 days ago, the same issue is happening again. At this point, it was pretty clear to me that this is not a “dust issue” or something caused by improper usage. This is a recurring defect that was never properly diagnosed or fixed in the first place. So I reached out to OnePlus support again and explained the entire situation - from the first visit in September, the repeat issue in November, and now the same problem occurring yet again. After some back and forth, they asked me to provide all the details, which I did. Their "Escalation Executive" called me, confirmed my details and then they verified my service visits and confirmed that yes, I had actually gone to the service center twice during the warranty period. Now here’s the frustrating part. Despite acknowledging that: - The issue was reported during warranty - The device was inspected twice - The problem kept recurring They told me that since the product is now out of warranty, they “cannot do anything” about it. And as a “goodwill gesture,” they offered me a ₹300 coupon for the OnePlus Store. *slow claps y'all* I even told them clearly that I’m open to a reasonable solution if it cannot happen for free, like a discounted repair or replacement, considering the history of the issue and now that I'm out of warranty but I can't help it anymore. But the response was the same - policy doesn’t allow it. Even the executive on call admitted that “as a customer this is unfair”, but indirectly said her hands are tied because of company policy. And that’s honestly what makes this worse. So yeah, learn from my experience: - PLEASE BUY EXTENDED WARRANTY ON ALL AUDIO PRODUCTS. These things are way more fragile than they seem, and issues can show up just after the standard warranty ends. - Always keep photos of your job sheets/service records. - If an issue repeats, push for replacement early. Don’t accept temporary fixes like “cleaning” - that’s usually a sign of a deeper problem. - Document everything (dates, visits, conversations). It helps a lot when you need to escalate. - Stay calm with support staff, but don’t back down. The person on call or service centre isn’t the problem - but the resolution still needs to be fair. But yeah OnePlus, you lost me. Forever.

Again, only AI and smoothness? I wonder how many bugs it will have then @OPlusFuckups

OnePlus Nord 6 – flagship upgrades killer? 🤡 Design. It looks like it has 3 cameras, but in fact it has only two (main camera has downgraded from LYT-700 to LYT-600 and UW has a narrower FOV 🥴). Not to mention the plastic frame while Nord 4 had a metal unibody design. Battery. 9000 mAh sounds impressive, but that's only for India! The global variant gets just 7500 mAh. And, Si/C technology is relatively new and unproven long-term. Either way, without proper optimization, capacity means nothing. Screen. Nord 4 has 2150 nits peak brightness – Nord 5/6 has only 1800 nits peak. – bbut it has 144/165 Hz screen 🤓 Come on, you mean 144/165 Hz in some games and system apps like calculator, compass etc.? Storage. UFS 4.1 and LPDDR5X are great, but still 12 GB of RAM maximum (just like Nord 5!) Price. ~$460 is a fair price, but still not worth buying this phone because of downgrades. What's the point of using Never Settle slogan then? @OPlusFuckups
