Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said,
“Verily, the servant does not entirely have faith until he abandons lying even while joking, and he abandons arguing even if he is truthful.”

If only I understood this fully, I wouldn’t of wasted so much hours of my life Allahul mustaan
Imam al-Shafi’i, may Allah be pleased with him, said in his poetry,
“If a fool speaks to you, do not answer him, for the best answer is silence. If you speak to him, you have delighted him. If you leave him, he nearly dies in anguish.”

Repost from Masjid As-Sahabah
Almost every day, we have new people popping into the masjid asking about it—how long we’ve been here, what we’re about, and why they hadn’t heard about us sooner.
So we have one simple request for everyone who currently attends:
Spread the word!
Tell your family, friends and neighbours. Help us make the masjid known throughout the community.
May Allah reward you all and make this a means of benefit for everyone.

بُشرى سارة للمسلمين عامة ولأخواتنا في هاكني خاصة
Alhamdulillah, we have been able to expand the masjid by securing the downstairs area for the sisters. May Allah reward everyone who has contributed and supported this effort, and may He place barakah in it and make it a means of benefit for the community.

Before they marry…[Forwarded]
They touched.
They kissed.
They hugged.
They crossed boundaries.
They did almost everything they knew was Ḥarām.
They called it “love.”
Then they got married…
And suddenly, things started going south.
He cheats.
She cheats.
Romance disappears.
Trust is destroyed.
Arguments become normal.
Chaos enters the home.
Eventually…
Divorce.
Then they come online and write long threads, diaries, podcasts and essays about how “people are terrible,” how “love is dead,” and how they were “unlucky in marriage.”
But sometimes, before blaming everyone else, we need to honestly examine how the relationship began.
Not every failed marriage is because the couple dated before marriage—marriages can fail for many reasons. But if a relationship is built from the beginning on disobedience to Allah ﷻ, don't be surprised when you later discover that chemistry alone isn't enough to sustain a marriage.
Marriage needs Taqwā, honesty, loyalty, patience, responsibility, mercy, communication and fear of Allah.
If you truly want someone, don't spend the relationship trying to satisfy your desires.
Protect them. Respect them. Keep it halal.
Because the goal shouldn't simply be:
“I want you.”
It should be:
“I want you in a way that Allah ﷻ is pleased with.”
Choose a relationship that can survive beyond the wedding day—not one that burns itself out before the wedding even begins.

A Father’s Role
We often hear about the importance of a mother’s role in raising children, and rightly so. However, the role of a father is equally important and should never be overlooked.
A father’s responsibility is not limited to providing financial support and covering his children’s living expenses. His role goes far beyond that. He must strive to cultivate good morals and character in his children and help them establish a strong relationship with their Creator through worship and obedience.
Children need a father who guides them, advises them, spends time with them, listens to them, teaches them good manners, and nurtures their relationship with Allah.
A father should be concerned about his children’s character just as much as their education, their prayers just as much as their future careers, and their hearts just as much as their physical well-being.
Children do not only need a provider. They need a role model, a teacher, a protector, and a source of wisdom and guidance.
A father’s words, presence, and involvement can shape a child’s life for years to come. Many problems can be prevented when a father is actively engaged in the upbringing of his children.
This is an important reminder for those seeking marriage and for those who hope to have children in the future. Preparing for fatherhood begins long before a child is born. A man should work on himself, strengthen his character, increase his knowledge, improve his relationship with Allah, and develop the qualities needed to lead and nurture a family.
May Allah bless our fathers, forgive those who have passed away, and aid every father in fulfilling the trust that Allah has placed upon his shoulders.

Fatherly Advice
Abul-Aswad married one of his daughters off, so she said to him, “Advise me.”
He replied,
“Honour his eyes (always look good),
his nose (always smell good),
and his ears (always speak good).”

Assalaamu 'Alaykum everyone
As a Muslim parent I couldn't find a coloring app for my kids that was ad free and had no faces or music, so I built one myself.
Islamic Coloring for Kids has mosques, the Kaaba, all 28 Arabic letters, and more. Kid Mode locks the phone so little ones stay in the app. No ads, no tracking, works offline.
The glitter pens are the kids' favorite, masha Allaah. Sharing in case it's useful for your families.
