| 7 | The Events of Yemen 🇾🇪 || Advice by Sheikh 'Abdul-'Azīz Ar-Rayyis حفظه الله
Among the extremely joyful events happening in the country of Yemen, I ask Allah to purify it from these impure, filthy Rafidhah who insult the companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. These Rafidhah, known as the Houthis, have wreaked corruption in the land of Yemen, ruining it religiously, doctrinally, and materially.
The time has come, all praise is due to Allah, that the brave people of Yemen from the people of the Sunnah have risen up. By the grace of Allah, this was with the support of this blessed Saudi state; I ask Allah to strengthen it with Tawhid and the Sunnah. Therefore, I call upon myself and my brothers to supplicate frequently that Allah strengthens Yemen, purifies it from these corrupters, makes it a land of Tawhid and Sunnah, encompasses it with safety, security, and a prosperous life, and unites their word upon Tawhid and the Sunnah.
Among what has unfolded in Yemen is that its people, praise be to Allah, are known for their bravery and courage. Prominent within the ranks of the people of Yemen who possess such bravery and courage are those Salafis. Many Salafi youth have descended upon the battlefield, led by Salafi commanders. They have demonstrated immense ingenuity and set the most magnificent examples of valor and courage. This confirms that when the Salafis engage, and when the time for legitimate Jihad arrives, they are unparalleled.
They prohibit non-legitimate Jihad—which is Jihad that results in greater harm than good, such as Jihad during a state of weakness or Jihad that is not under a legitimate banner, among other reasons. However, when legitimate Jihad is called for, the Salafis are the first to strive, standing at the forefront of the Mujahideen. History has recognized this about them, and truthful people know that they are valiant and courageous. This is not strange for a people who seek Allah and the Hereafter.
The Salafis fight for their doctrine, unlike the Muslim Brotherhood, who have committed betrayals in the land of Yemen and elsewhere. This is not unusual for them; they are the very definition of betrayal. The Muslim Brotherhood are manipulators and the most cowardly of people in battle. In contrast, those Salafis are the bravest of people in combat, and reality is the best witness.
I invite you to follow, even in a general sense, the victories being achieved at the hands of our brothers. I call upon myself and all of you to earnestly beseech Allah in supplication for them during our prayers, in times when prayers are answered, and at other times. The battle is decisive and the progress is strong. Yet, there are highway robbers from the treacherous Muslim Brotherhood, mercenaries infiltrating the ranks who corrupt some people with money or otherwise, and interventions by the disbelieving West under various covers and guises.
So increase your supplications, O Muslims, for your brothers. A Muslim rejoices at the joy of his brothers and grieves at their sorrow. How much more so when the war is against those Rafidhah who declare the companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to be disbelievers and who accuse our mother Aisha of adultery?
Al-Bukhari and Muslim narrated from Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A believer to another believer is like a solid structure, one part supporting the other." Imam Al-Bukhari and Muslim also narrated from the Hadith of Al-Nu'man bin Bashir that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The example of the believers in their mutual love, mercy, and compassion is like that of a single body; if one organ complains, the rest of the body responds with sleeplessness and fever." And Allah, the Mighty and Majestic said: "Then Allah will bring forth a people whom He loves and who love Him, humble toward the believers, powerful against the disbelievers; they strive in the cause of Allah and do not fear the blame of a critic."
By Allah, O my brothers, let us recognize the greatness of what our honorable brothers from the people of Yemen are doing in the land of Yemen, and let us recognize the immense calamity that has befallen Yemen—the land of goodness, chivalry, bravery, and dignity. Let us strengthen their hands with whatever means we possess, whether through a supportive word, active backing, spreading the news of the good they are doing, and, most importantly, by frequently supplicating for them.
I ask Allah by His Beautiful Names and Lofty Attributes to honor the country of Yemen with Tawhid and the Sunnah, with a prosperous life, and with the best of this world and the Hereafter, and to extend that to all Muslim lands. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.

| 12 | Who are the scholars whom you advise the youth to benefit from, follow their lessons and recorded lectures, take knowledge from, and refer to during important matters, crises, and times of fitnah (tribulation)?
Answered by the Mufti of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Al-'Allāmah Sālih Al-Fawzān حفظه الله:
At the forefront of our scholars is His Eminence Sheikh 'Abdul-'Azīz ibn Bāz, may Allah have mercy on him. Indeed, he is a man whom Allah, the Glorified and Exalted, has blessed with abundant knowledge, righteous deeds, calling to Allah, sincerity, truthfulness, and qualities that are hidden from no one. All praise is due to Allah; much good has come from him in terms of writings, authored books, recorded lectures, and lessons.
Likewise, the scholars who issue verdicts on the program Noor 'ala al-Darb—the Ummah- all praise is due to Allah- are content with their fatwas and relies upon them, having experienced their sound verdicts and beneficial statements. Among them are His Eminence Sheikh Abdul-'Azīz ibn Bāz and His Eminence Sheikh Muḥammad ibn Sālih Al-'Uthaymīn.
Furthermore, among the prominent scholars who have a long-standing role in da'wah are:
His Eminence Sheikh Abdul-Muḥsin Al-'Abbād
His Eminence Sheikh Rabee' Hadee
His Eminence Sheikh Sālih As-Suhaymī
His Eminence Sheikh Muḥammad Amān Al-Jāmī
Indeed, they have exerted great efforts in da'wah, sincerity, and in refuting those who seek to divert da'wah from its correct path, whether intentionally or unintentionally. These scholars possess experience, expertise, the ability to weigh statements, and the capacity to distinguish the sound from the unsound. Therefore, their recordings and lessons must be promoted and benefited from, as they hold great benefit for the Muslims.

| 15 | A REMINDER FROM TODAY’S LESSON
In today’s lesson on the explanation of the Hāiyyah poem of Ḥāfidh Al-Ḥakami, Shaykh Sulaymān Ar-Ruḥaylī حفظه الله gave an important reminder concerning the rights of our Muslim brothers and sisters who are facing hardship in different parts of the world.
He mentioned that it is from their rights upon us to continue to make duʿāʾ for them and not only remember them when their situation becomes a trend and people begin saying, “We stand with Palestine,” or when their suffering is widely circulated.
Our brothers and sisters in Palestine, our Muslim brothers affected by the wildfires in Algeria, our brothers and sisters affected by the floods and landslides in Nepal, and Muslims elsewhere who are experiencing trials and hardship—all of them have a right upon us that we remember them in our supplications.
The hardship of a Muslim is not forgotten simply because it is no longer trending.
So let us make it a habit to sincerely ask Allah ﷻ to relieve the suffering of our brothers and sisters, protect them, grant them patience and steadfastness, heal the wounded, have mercy upon those who have died, and bring ease after hardship.
Do not let the disappearance of a trend cause the disappearance of your duʿāʾ.
May Allah relieve the hardship of every Muslim who is suffering, wherever they may be. آمين.

| 19 | 📖 A SINCERE ADVICE: HOW TO REPENT FROM MAWLID
The season has passed. The festivities are done, the food has been eaten, the music has faded, and the gatherings have dispersed. What was perceived as a celebration is over, but the reality remains: the deeds have been recorded, and the innovation has been written.
تفنى اللذاذة ممن نال صفوتها * من الحرام ويبقى الإثم والعار
تبقى عواقب سوء في مغبتها * لا خير في لذة من بعدها النار
The pleasure fades from the one who attained its peak from the unlawful, while the sin and shame remain.
Evil consequences remain in its aftermath; there is no good in a pleasure after which is the Fire.
However, Ahlus-Sunnah differ from the extreme groups. We firmly warn against religious innovations (Bid’ah), yet we never make people despair of Allah's mercy. He is Ar-Rahman, the All-Merciful.
The Prophet (ﷺ) gave us immense hope when he said:
“Indeed, Allah extends His Hand during the night so that the sinners of the day may repent, and He extends His Hand during the day so that the sinners of the night may repent, until the sun rises from the west.”
(Sahih Muslim)
Truly, the door of repentance is open until the sun rises from the west.
If you fell into the innovation of Mawlid, here is sincere advice on how to return to the pure Sunnah, depending on your situation:
A PATH TO RECTIFICATION FOR EVERY INDIVIDUAL
For the Ignorant
If you participated out of a lack of knowledge, thinking it was a good deed, the door to clarity is open. Check the numerous, gentle clarifications provided by the scholars of Ahlus-Sunnah—may Allah bless their efforts.
Learn why the Prophet (ﷺ) and his Companions never celebrated this day. Remember the Hadith:
“Whoever introduces into this matter of ours that which is not of it, it will be rejected.”
(Al-Bukhari & Muslim)
Seek knowledge; it is your shield.
For the Blind-Follower
If you went along with the crowd, following cultural norms or family traditions, it is time to prioritize the Sunnah over society.
True love for the Prophet (ﷺ) is demonstrated through obedience, not innovation. As Allah says:
“Say, [O Muhammad], ‘If you should love Allah, then follow me, [so] Allah will love you and forgive you your sins.’”
(Qur’an 3:31)
For the Knowledgeable
If you knew the truth of this matter but still participated—yielding to desires, social pressure, or worldly gain—fear Allah.
You know the gravity of opposing the Sunnah. Renew your sincerity, ask for forgiveness, and let your knowledge guide your actions, not your environment.
For the Caller and Promoter
This is the most dangerous position. If you called to this innovation through your speech, actions, organization, or social media posts, your repentance requires an extra step.
You must not only stop and regret the action, but you must also clarify and rectify.
Allah says regarding those who conceal the truth:
“Except for those who repent and correct themselves and make evident [what they concealed]. Those—I will accept their repentance.”
(Qur’an 2:160)
Delete those posts, inform your followers of your mistake, and use your platform to champion the Sunnah.
The Conditions of a Sincere Repentance
To ensure your Tawbah is accepted, simply fulfill its conditions:
- Cease the action immediately.
- Feel deep regret for falling into innovation.
- Have a firm resolve never to return to it.
- Make amends, especially if you promoted it to others.
May Allah forgive our shortcomings, fill our hearts with true love for the Prophet (ﷺ) through adherence to his Sunnah, and keep us steadfast upon the Haqq.
