I hv shared sth like this b4, right? but yeah… I can’t help it, my ears just choose to hear this kinda thing 😅....

So the event was for 7:30… but me, as always, left home at 8 and arrived after like 20–30 minutes 😂. And the program actually started at 9, so yeah I wasn’t even considered late. Honestly, I really hate being on time, wallahi. The event was for launching an initiative and also celebrating Women’s Day. Seeing high-positioned women is honestly so inspiring… like it literally takes you into a whole delusional imagination world. All of a sudden, you feel the whole energy. There were amazing guests, and the panel discussion was really cool. One thing that really stayed with me was: “The best time to test things is when you’re young, so don’t be scared; be open-minded,” said Miraf, CEO of ALX Ethiopia. And @edemy_et also reminded us to focus on our skills, not our grades… lol, even if she didn’t say it, my grades are decreasing exponentially anyway 😭 She also said, “I even have a master’s degree, but nobody asks me about that. Everybody just wants to know what you can do and what you’ve done, not anything else.” There were refreshments, some networking, and of course the ALX alumni talking about their programs again (they never miss 😄). The event ended later than expected like they said 11, but we left around 12:30. It was raining, and as usual, transport was an issue. Ala kuli hal, I’m really glad I went. @techy_muslimah
