For those who have been tasking or planning to start on Outlier accounts and don’t have a U.S. PayPal account, here’s what you can do to make sure your payments land in your local paypal account smoothly. First, use the same email address you used to create your Outlier account and add it to Outlier as your payment method. Then, wait until you receive an email notification saying that you have received a payment from PayPal. Once you receive that notification, connect that same email address to your local PayPal account or your friend’s PayPal account…the PayPal account that can receive the money. Once the money comes in, withdraw it, and then remove the email address from that PayPal account. The next time you receive a payment, repeat the same process. this is the secret if you don’t have a U.S. PayPal account. If you have a U.S. PayPal account, simply link it directly. But if you don’t have one, use the email address you created your Outlier account with as your payment method. Don’t link that email to your PayPal account beforehand. Wait until you receive the email notification that your payment has been received and only then connect the email to your PayPal account.
