Every breath feels borrowed from a body that has already begun to die. My lungs burn. My heart beats as though it is trying to escape the cage of my chest before the rest of me gives up. It is everywhere now. Beneath my skin. In my blood. Between every thought. It hollows me out from the inside, carving away whatever little hope I had left. It is too late. We ran out of time. And once again you were right. I wasn’t made for this life.

I’m so sick and tired.
