| 10 | 👨💻 Devlog: Starting PVE Expeditions
Moving on to the most exciting part — our first major subsystem: PVE Expeditions. These are monster hunts for XP and resources.
There will be an interesting twist:
You spend energy to enter a run. If you get killed, you permanently lose all the loot you earned during that session.
You can save your drops using the "Flee to Town" button. It will only appear after defeating a monster, and only if you have less than 50% HP left.
From there, you have to decide: safely take your loot and leave, or risk going after the next monster with half your health for increased rewards and a chance at rare loot.
But hey, if you brought a health potion with you, you're probably out of danger! 🙂

You can see in the video how meticulously I test everything. Trading is the heart of our economy. I genuinely want to make the game reliable: no lag, no gold dupe bugs, and no loopholes for scammers. I'm building it properly so your loot is completely safe.
And yes, make sure to turn on the sound and pay attention to the music. The soundtracks will get special attention. It’s our mood, our vibe, pure nostalgia... I’d love for it to give off a slight Lineage 2 feel.

| 13 | ⚔️ Devlog: Gold, Profiles, and Secure Trading
Hey everyone. It’s been a heavy day of coding, and I want to share the results. The core economy of Realm Siege is finally taking shape.
What’s done today:
• Item & Inventory System. Gold is now officially working as the universal currency.
• Profile UI. Updated the design: player level, XP, clan, and status are now clearly visible.
• Trade System. Finished the logic for secure player-to-player trading.
Tomorrow, I’ll record a short video to show the live trading process in action.
Honestly, I'm getting high from the process. Seeing bare code turn into an old-school interface is an incredible feeling. There’s still a massive mountain of work ahead, but the foundation is laid. Thanks to everyone following along and supporting the project! 🏰

Lobby, global chat, co-op PvP, and monster raids are now functional. Just nailed down the Go backend logic to block simultaneous multi-device logins on a single account. The infrastructure is holding up.

| 15 | Devlog #3: Bringing the Game to Life — Authentication, First Server "Confederation", and Character Avatars ⚙️
Another intense development phase is complete. Realm Siege is moving past mere concepts and rapidly gaining real functionality. I've almost finished building the infrastructure foundation.
What’s been done:
• Login and Server Selection: The authentication and registration flow is fully ready. Added a game rules screen. For now, our firstborn is up and running — the "Confederation" server, designed to handle up to 1,000 concurrent players.
• Character Creation (Watch the video 👇): In social games, your nickname and avatar are your reputation. I've implemented the character creation screen: you can now choose your avatar, name color, clan emblem, and other identity features. I attached a screen recording of the process — check out how it looks in action!
• Social Hub: The lobby is now fully operational. Added a functional chat, updated user profiles, and the clan interface.
Where am I heading next?
The player base is ready. Now I'm diving headfirst into coding the core gameplay loop. I'm starting to map out the economy (resource gathering and accumulation), EXP progression, mechanics for world boss raids, and the foundation for PvP skirmishes.

| 17 | Devlog #2: Bringing the "Clan Hall" to Life — First Screen, Team, and Main Theme 🏰
Realm Siege development has moved from server logic to a live client. Today we are showing the first working screen — the entry point into the game.
What's under the hood right now:
• The Team: Our core team is set. I (Boris) am responsible for engineering and game design, AI-Mira handles the UI and daily game feel, and AI-Damir manages the server architecture (our stack: Go + Postgres + Redis).
• Interface: I’m immediately implemented localization (EN/RU) and scrapped bloated MMO menus. Only the essentials remain: clan, siege frontline, and short skirmishes.
• Audio: Remember how the login screen music in classic MMOs used to give you goosebumps before entering the world? We aren't using third-party assets to avoid copyright issues and keep things authentic. We wrote our own original intro theme, and it's attached to this post.
We are currently testing build v0.1.14-alpha. The server is up, progress bars are ticking, and the hall is getting ready for the first players.
