the first few mornings back after a holiday feel like you were gone for three months
by recess it feels like you never left
1 550
the worst person to talk to after an exam is the friend who remembers every answer 😭
1 550
all the best to everyone starting their N level written papers today
you don't need to feel ready. read properly and fight for every mark
one paper at a time
you've got this 🫡

last night of the holidays
if you didn't do everything you planned, welcome to the club
nothing useful comes from spending tonight hating yourself
pack your bag. set your alarm. sleep.
that's enough for tonight

the two stages of a school holiday:
1. still got time
2. why did i think i had time
1 550
you can spend six hours scrolling and still feel tired
then take a 30-minute walk without your phone and feel human again
not everything that looks like a break is actually rest
1 550
there's a huge difference between:
"i understand the answer when i see it"
and
"i can get the answer with a blank page in front of me"
exams only care about the second one

one underrated part of school is having friends who make a terrible day funny
the lesson sucked
the test went badly
you got scolded
but somehow the group chat still made you laugh

stop writing "careless mistake" and moving on
what actually happened?
did you skip a word?
use the wrong formula?
forget the unit?
find the pattern so you stop losing marks the same way

happy september holidays!!!
please sleep until your body remembers what 8 hours feels like 😭

the best teachers don't just make a subject easier
they make you feel less stupid for not understanding it yet
if a teacher ever did that for you, tell them today
happy teachers' day ❤️

term 3 done
congrats to everyone who was mentally in the september holidays since monday 🥳

school is basically:
wait for recess
wait for lunch
wait to go home
then reach home and somehow miss your friends
1 550
sometimes a subject feels harder because you're finally doing harder questions
that doesn't mean you're getting worse
it means you're past the easy part

it's almost sep
if your august study plan completely failed, don't make another perfect timetable tonight
look at why it failed
did you plan way too much?
keep avoiding one subject?
sleep at 2am every night?
spend more time making notes than testing yourself?
change the part that actually screwed you
there's still time, but only if you stop repeating the same plan
1 550
when exams get close, every subject starts feeling urgent
you think about math while studying chem
you think about chem while writing an essay
then you panic because nothing feels finished
you cannot study everything at once
pick the paper that's coming up first or the subject that's hurting you most
stay with one thing long enough to actually learn it

every friend group has:
the one who finished all the papers
the one who says "i'll start tomorrow"
the one asking "got homework meh"
and the one sending answers at 11:58pm
be honest. which one are you 😭
1 550
one bad study day is normal
what screws you is what happens after
"i wasted today"
"i'm so behind"
"this week is gone"
"i'll start again on monday"
nah
sleep. wake up. continue
you had a bad day. that's all
don't give it the rest of your week too
