قال الشيخ سليمان الرحيلي حفظه الله Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli, may Allah preserve him, said: قال ابن مفلح رحمه الله في الفروع: Ibn Mufliḥ – may Allah have mercy on him – said in al-Furūʿ: ((قال شيخنا (يعني: ابن تيمية رحمه الله): عامة الفتن التي وقعت من أعظم أسبابها قلة الصبر؛ • “Our Shaykh (meaning: Ibn Taymiyyah – may Allah have mercy on him) said: Most of the tribulations that have occurred are due to lack of patience; إذ الفتنة لها سببان: إما ضعف العلم, وإما ضعف الصبر، • For tribulation has two causes: either weak knowledge or weak patience, فإن الجهل والظلم أصل الشر، • Indeed, ignorance and injustice are the roots of evil, وفاعل الشر إنما يفعله لجهله بأنه شر، ولكون نفسه تريده، • And the doer of evil only does so due to his ignorance that it is evil, and because his soul desires it, فبالعلم يزول الجهل، وبالصبر يحبس الهوى والشهوة، فتزول تلك الفتنة)). • So through knowledge, ignorance is removed, and through patience, desires and lusts are restrained—thus the tribulation is removed.” قلت: صدق ورب الكعبة، • I say: He spoke the truth, by the Lord of the Kaʿbah. ولذلك كان يأمر النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بالصبر، • And for this reason, the Prophet ﷺ used to command with patience, ولا سيما في المواطن التي يُظن فيها تهيّج الفتن كجور الولاة ووقوع ما يُكره منهم. • Especially in situations where tribulations are expected to flare up—like the injustice of rulers and what is disliked from them. قلت: ويهيّج الفتن دعاة إليها ممن ينتسبون للعلم وغيرهم، • I say: And those who stir up tribulations are callers to it—some of whom ascribe themselves to knowledge, and others, لضعف صبرهم أو لقلة علمهم أو لفساد علمهم أو لسوء قصدهم، • Due to their lack of patience, or their lack of knowledge, or the corruption of their knowledge, or their evil intention. وقد تجتمع الأربعة أو بعضها في بعضهم. • And all four, or some of them, may gather in some of them. وفي الغالب عند ثوران الفتن يفر أولئك الدعاة إليها إلى مكان يترفهون فيه، • And often, when tribulations erupt, those callers to it flee to a place where they enjoy luxury, ويحترق بنيرانها العامة. • And the general people burn in its fire. فيا ليت قومي يعلمون. • So if only my people knew. https://t.me/PearlsofRuhayli

قال الشيخ سليمان الرحيلي حفظه الله Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli, may Allah preserve him, said: من فوائد الأحداث أنا ازددنا يقينا من عظم نعمة ربنا علينا بولاة أمرنا، • From the benefits of the events is that we have increased in certainty regarding the greatness of our Lord’s blessing upon us through our leaders. وأن الأمن والاستقرار وقوة الجماعة لا يعدلها شيء، • And that security, stability, and the strength of unity are not equaled by anything. وأن الخوف قاطع للتنعم بالنعم، • And that fear severs the enjoyment of blessings. فاعتبروا يا أولي الأبصار، واشكروا الله على نعمه، وحافظوا عليها. • So take heed, O people of insight, and thank Allah for His blessings, and safeguard them. https://t.me/PearlsofRuhayli

قال الشيخ سليمان الرحيلي حفظه الله Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli, may Allah preserve him, said: أخبث الأمة الذين يتاجرون بعواطف الأمة وآلامها ويتلاعبون بآمالها لتمرير أفكارهم المنحرفة وتلميع رموزهم وأحزابهم • The most wicked of the Ummah are those who trade upon the emotions and pains of the Ummah, and manipulate its hopes in order to pass off their deviant ideas and to polish the image of their figures and parties. أسأل الله أن لا يرفع لهم راية ولا يحقق لهم غاية، • I ask Allah that He does not raise for them a banner nor allow them to achieve any goal, وأن يكفي الأمة شرهم وشر أفكارهم، • And that He protects the Ummah from their evil and the evil of their ideologies, وأن يحمي إخواننا وأخواتنا في كل مكان ممن يريد بهم سوءًا، • And that He safeguards our brothers and sisters in every place from those who intend harm for them. وأسأل الله أن يوفق حكماء الأمة وعلى رأسهم ولاة أمرنا في سعيهم لخدمة قضايا الأمة، • And I ask Allah to grant success to the wise among the Ummah—at their head, our leaders—in their efforts to serve the Ummah’s causes, ويكلل تلك المساعي والجهود بالنجاح وحصول المقصود. • And to crown those efforts with success and the attainment of the intended goals. https://t.me/PearlsofRuhayli

قال الشيخ سليمان الرحيلي حفظه الله Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli, may Allah preserve him, said: الدنيا مليئة بالاختلافات، • The world is full of differences, وكل يدعي الحق، • And everyone claims to be upon the truth, ويعض الناس ألحن بحجته من بعض، • And some people are more eloquent in their argument than others, فقد تلتبس الأمور على الإنسان، • So matters may become confusing for a person, فما أحوج الإنسان إلى هداية الرحمن، • So how much the person is in need of the guidance of the Most Merciful, فاحرص على الإكثار من الدعاء أن يهديك الله لما اختلف فيه من الحق، • So be keen on making abundant duʿāʾ that Allah guides you to the truth concerning that which people have differed in. فعن أبي سلمة بن عبد الرحمن بن عوف، قال: • It was narrated from Abū Salamah ibn ʿAbd ar-Raḥmān ibn ʿAwf, who said: سألت عائشة أم المؤمنين: • I asked ʿĀʾishah, the Mother of the Believers: بأي شيء كان نبي الله ﷺ يفتتح صلاته إذا قام من الليل؟ • With what would the Prophet of Allah ﷺ begin his prayer when he stood to pray at night? قالت: • She said: كان إذا قام من الليل افتتح صلاته: • When he stood for night prayer, he would begin his prayer with: اللهم رب جبريل وميكائيل وإسرافيل، فاطر السموات والأرض، عالم الغيب والشهادة، أنت تحكم بين عبادك فيما كانوا فيه يختلفون، اهدني لما اختلف فيه من الحق بإذنك، إنك تهدي من تشاء إلى صراط مستقيم. • O Allah, Lord of Jibrīl, Mīkāʾīl, and Isrāfīl, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, You judge between Your servants concerning that wherein they differ.
