This paralysis pushed Brent crude prices above the $84 mark, amid expectations of further dramatic increases. Thirdly: The depletion of air defense and air force resources The United States and Israel adopt a strategy of "intensive interception", where air defense missiles (such as Patriot, THAAD, and Arrow) are costing huge sums to repel Iranian drones and missiles. The consumption of these stocks has cost the US treasury about $5.5 billion.
