At the end of the set, as the crowd was beginning to leave, Kurt came back onstage to announce a special guest, Everett True. This is one of my favorite photos of him. Everybody talks about Kurt as the great musician who was tortured and talented. They talk about his drug addiction and they talk about the dark side of him. But I got to experience another side. This was such a cute moment, playing with Frances. He loved her.

During the bridge of "School," Kurt improvised the lyrics, including Krist coming in to add one line.
