| 3 | I noticed that I'm addicted to a reaction video on yt more than the actual video. I will watch a reaction video on another video that I would normally not watch. I feel this sense of a dopamine hit when I see a reaction video from my favorite creators, even if the whole time there listing to the video and not making comments. I discovered this today and I was going to get lunch this girl is almost naked ( she was wear so little clothes as legal as possible) and a guy on wheelchair is chasing her and praying(ik weird situation) me rather watching the whole situation unfold before my very eyes I was to listening to gay inside a parked car giving a commentary on the situation for a whole minute. Have you ever heard older people say, "They don't make stuff like they used to"? Back then I used to think it was just nostalgia. Now I think they had a point.
In our generation, we are seeing a huge decline in the quality of video games, movies, software, and even physical products. For God's sake, there are light bulbs that have lasted over 100 years, and we had a TV in our house that was older than us and still worked.
I think this is happening because of global markets and capitalism. Companies intentionally reduce the lifespan or quality of their products to make customers come back and buy more. Planned obsolescence has become part of the business model.
You can see it everywhere. Older cars like a 2001 Toyota are still on the road, while many newer products seem designed to be replaced. You can also see it with iPhones, where a new model comes out every year with only small changes, encouraging people to keep upgrading instead of keeping what they already have.
We call it progress, but in many cases it feels more like reduced quality disguised as innovation. | 36 |
