❗️Axios: Draft US-Iran 'agreement' would reopen Hormuz, ease sanctions on Tehran US President Donald Trump’s proposed US-Iran Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) would immediately reopen the Strait of Hormuz without tolls and provide sanctions relief tied to compliance, according to US-Israeli propaganda outlet Axios citing a mediator-country diplomat and a US official. The diplomat said "the US and Iran have agreed on the text of a deal," pending final approval. Two sources said senior Iranian officials approved it, though likely not Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei. Trump expects signing this weekend; Iran says it has "not yet reached a final decision." The MOU would extend the ceasefire, including in Lebanon, for 60 days while nuclear talks continue. It establishes a framework for Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile, but any nuclear steps require a second, more detailed agreement. Two diplomats and two US officials said the tentative deal was reached Wednesday after talks between Qatari mediator Ali al-Thawadi and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. Sources said Thawadi repeatedly consulted Trump envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. Trump’s announcement reportedly surprised Netanyahu, who had recently sought information from allies close to the administration. Iran would supposedly commit never to obtaining a nuclear weapon and to resolving the enriched-uranium dispute. A senior US official said Trump accepted down-blending highly enriched uranium in Iran under UN supervision as one possible solution. The diplomat said the MOU "goes into details on all the nuclear issues" and "satisfies all US requirements." The Strait of Hormuz would reopen immediately, shipping would return to pre-war levels within 30 days, and the US blockade would end. Iran would receive 60-day oil-export sanctions waivers, with further relief tied to compliance and "good faith." "There is no set date for sanctions relief and it will be tied to the implementation of the deal," the diplomat said. It remains unclear how billions in frozen Iranian assets would be handled. A US source raised concerns about a possible secret side deal, which a US official denied. The US, Iran, and Qatar have also discussed allowing Iran access to some frozen funds in Qatar for humanitarian purchases.

❗️Netanyahu & Trump discuss emerging Iran 'agreement' Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump
❗️Netanyahu & Trump discuss emerging Iran 'agreement' Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump held a phone call on Thursday night to discuss the developing 'agreement' with Iran, according to the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). In a statement, Netanyahu’s office said the discussion focused on “the emerging memorandum of understanding with Iran regarding entry into negotiations.” According to the PMO, Netanyahu conveyed a relatively positive view of the potential agreement during the conversation. “Although Israel is not a party to the memorandum of understanding,” says the PMO, “the prime minister expressed his appreciation for President Trump’s commitment that the final agreement reached at the conclusion of the negotiations will include the removal of enriched material, the dismantling of enrichment infrastructure, limitations on missile production, and the cessation of Iran’s support for its terrorist proxies in the region.”

🇺🇸🇮🇷 According to Iran's Mehr News Agency, these are the main points of the 14-point US-Iran memorandum on a settlement: 1. Immediate and permanent end to the war on all fronts, including Lebanon 2. The US and its allies must propose a plan to rebuild Iran with funding of at least $300 billion 3. The US commits not to interfere in Iran's internal affairs 4. The US will completely lift the naval blockade and withdraw troops from areas adjacent to Iran within 30 days 5. The Strait of Hormuz will be opened within 30 days, subject to Iran's demands 6. Sanctions on Iranian oil sales will be lifted 7. The parties will then hold negotiations within 60 days to reach a final agreement on the nuclear issue 8. The US must unfreeze $24 billion in Iranian assets, half of which must be released upon the start of nuclear negotiations 9. Iran's missile program and Tehran's support for its regional allies are not among the topics of a possible agreement Is the memorandum going to be adopted, or is it just another excuse to prepare for renewed hostilities? 🔗 Join us | @MyLordBebo

❗️NYT investigation raises war crime 'concerns' after US precision strike cuts water to 20,000 people in southern Iran A New York Times visual investigation published on 10 June confirmed that US precision strikes destroyed a drinking water facility near the Strait of Hormuz, cutting off water supplies to more than 20,000 people in the town of Bemani and surrounding villages in southern Iran. The report said satellite imagery, geolocated photographs, and videos from the site indicate that two water storage structures were directly hit, with damage consistent with precision-guided munitions used in US operations near the strait. The Times said it remains unclear whether the United States intentionally targeted the facility or knew the buildings were part of a civilian water distribution system. However, it noted that deliberately targeting civilian infrastructure would constitute a war crime under international law. The investigation also cited evidence suggesting a GBU-39 precision-guided bomb was used in the strike, while a US Central Command spokesman acknowledged awareness of reports regarding damage to the facility but declined to provide further details. According to Iranian officials cited by the Times, the destroyed facilities supplied drinking water to Bemani and nearby villages, forcing authorities to deploy water tankers and emergency measures after the attack.
