Nice hypothetical facial reconstructions of Ancient North Eurasians. They look pretty accurate when compared to the forensic reconstructions of East European Hunter-Gatherers and the Early Bronze Age Tarim mummies, who had ~75% and ~85% ANE ancestry, respectively. If you are Northern European, you have around 25% ANE ancestry, equivalent to one great grandparent.

The iconic Dala horse (Swedish Dalahäst) originates from Dalarna, Sweden. Originally a toy for children, it’s now become a universally recognized symbol of Sweden. Although the Dala horse is typically red, the styles and colors can vary based on the region of Sweden.

I love the details relating to Tromsø, like the reindeer, aurora borealis, and the traditional Sámi hat. Tromsø area has long been home to Sámi culture. Some of my ancestors hailed from Tromsø and based on their surname and my ancestry results, they were most likely of Northern Sámi descent.
