| 15 |  What does iSpy mean?
Well, in traditional game jams, the organizers fabricate a single word or phrase for the community to use as a theme when making their games. While that's a tried and trusted way of giving the developers something to focus on and make a game that revolves around it, we often found ourselves feeling limited whenever the given theme didn't spark something creative and fun in our heads.
So we're trying a novel approach where we provide you, the developers, with an image of a room where you then can choose any thing you like from the image and develop using that as your theme.
In the image above for example, if I was a contender I "would spy with my little eye" the laptop as my theme. Someone else can choose the cactus, the chair, the windows, etc.
One person can choose only one theme, but multiple people can choose the same theme. | 122 |
