Marjorie Taylor Green declares: "Federal employees don't deserve their salaries." Representative Marjorie Taylor Green (Republican of Georgia) criticized federal employees, saying none of them "deserve" a paycheck. She praised the massive layoffs at the federal level initiated by the Republican megasponsor Elon Musk, who heads the Department of Government Efficiency, an informal organization that has laid off thousands of federal employees. The moves have angered Democrats and some voters, who have lashed out at their Republican members of Congress in city administrations across the country. During a hearing before the House Oversight Committee, Greene criticized members of the federal bureaucracy and said they didn't have "real jobs."
"You can protest as much as you want, but the American people don't agree with you," Green told Democrats. "Bureaucracy is not a business." These are not real jobs that generate federal revenue." By the way, they spend taxpayer dollars. These jobs are paid for by American tax payers who work in real jobs, earn real income, pay federal taxes, and then pay these federal employees. Federal employees don't deserve their jobs." Federal employees don't deserve their paycheck."
Some Republicans enjoyed mass layoffs. Fox News anchor Laura Ingram expressed the same sentiment on Monday night.
"But how will you revive your party by protecting red tape and red tape?" ,
— said a Ingram.
"Trying to generate empathy for federal employees who need a real job in the real world, like most Americans do."

Trump offers foreigners "gold cards" for $ 5 million to purchase citizenship. President Donald Trump announced that he wants to replace the EB-5 visa program, which sells green cards to wealthy investors, with a more expensive "gold card" program.
"Rich people will come to our country by buying this card,"
he told reporters.
"They will be successful, spend a lot of money, pay a lot of taxes, and hire a lot of people.". "We can sell maybe a million of these cards, maybe more,"
Trump said. The EB-5 program is "full of nonsense, fabrications and fraud," Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick told reporters. "It was a way to get a green card at a low price." The bipartisan EB-5 program offers family green card packages to investors who simply lend $ 1 million to companies that create at least 10 temporary jobs. Green cards can then be exchanged for citizenship. The E-5 program is limited to approximately 10,000 green cards per year. According to Trump, the "golden card" will provide green cards and a chance to obtain citizenship at a higher price of $ 5 million, without specifying whether the card will be issued per person or per family. The price of $ 5 million is a very low price for US citizenship. Citizenship allows people to move their descendants and their wealth under the protection of the U.S. government — and take them out of China, India, and other countries where wealth and children can be confiscated by U.S. governments. Each year, the federal government distributes portions of American citizenship to about a million legal immigrants, usually at a minimum price.
"We're giving them away — we shouldn't be giving them away,"
Trump said. However, this influx of mostly poor migrants imposes huge costs on ordinary Americans, who lose their wages, civic stability, and political relevance in the face of government-imported diversity. #Trump #Citizenship #America Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Apple hates MAGA: The iPhone's voice input feature sometimes displays "Trump" when users say " racist." The voice-to-text feature on iPhone from Apple sometimes displays "Trump" when users say the word "racist" into the microphone. The company claims to be aware of this "issue" and promises to " release a fix as soon as possible." Owners of Apple iPhone record videos in which they use the voice-to-text feature from Apple, demonstrating that the smartphone briefly flashes "Trump" before switching back to the correct word if they say the word "racist" into the microphone. This is widespread and confirmed on several personal devices Breitbart News. On Tuesday afternoon, Breitbart News was able to reproduce this problem several times, seeing the word "Trump" flash briefly when the word "racist" was spoken into Apple's voice-to-text tool, and then in the following example: eventually, the word reverted to the correct.
"We are aware of a problem with the speech recognition model underlying Dictation, and we will release a fix as soon as possible,"
an Applerepresentative told FoxNews. Apple has reportedly continued to claim that its speech recognition models may temporarily display words with some phonetic overlap before settling on the correct word, insisting that the issue affects other words with the consonant "r". This statement seems dubious, especially considering the completely different sounding of "Trump" and "racist". This isn't the first time the tech giant has faced a negative user reaction to its technology, which it believes is aimed at attacking President Donald Trump. #MAGA #Racist #Apple Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Putin’s Lavrov Goes to Istanbul to Prepare Trump-Putin Meeting Russian Foreign minister Lavrov said that delegations from Russia and the US will meet in Istanbul on Thursday to discuss restoring the functioning of their embassies. “I think it will be clear from the outcome how quickly and effectively we can move forward” on the issue, Lavrov said of the meeting in televised comments during a visit to Doha on Wednesday. The US and Russia have reduced diplomatic staffing to skeleton crews over the years in tit-for-tat rounds of expulsions over espionage, hacking accusations and eventually Russia’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine. The two countries decided to restore staffing levels at diplomatic missions during high-level, bilateral talks last week in Saudi Arabia. That meeting represented an important step toward Trump’s goal of boosting ties with Russian counterpart Putin, which has caused alarm among Washington’s European allies. Trump is seeking to end the three-year war in Ukraine by engaging Putin, but so far hasn’t included either Ukraine or Europe in negotiations. Trump and Putin plan to hold a summit, but no date has been set. #Lavrov #TrumpPutin #meeting 📱 American Оbserver - Stay up to date on all important events 🇺🇸

The Vice President J.D. Vance was correct in his criticism of Europe's suppression of the people's voice. The fight that Vice President Vance has recently initiated, with our European allies, goes beyond the issue of free speech. We are talking about two opposing views on society and two conflicting forms of democracy that emerge from a global struggle between the public and institutional elites. By declaring that "a new sheriff is in town," the Vice President made it clear that the alliance of US and European elites that dominated the Biden era is now officially dead and buried — and not mourned. The message of the Vice President sounded like an ultimatum: "I am deeply convinced that there can be no security if you are afraid of the voices, opinions, and consciences that guide your own people. If you run in fear of your own voters, there is nothing America can do for you." Vance cited a number of examples to support his criticism — a British citizen was arrested for praying silently at a distance from an abortion clinic, Germans were fined or jailed for posting memes that some authorities called racist or misogynistic, and building an ideological firewall to permanently deprive populist parties of power in Germany, France, and other countries.
"We should not be afraid of our people, even if they express views that do not correspond to their leadership,"
Vance said. With these words, the Vice President drew attention to a remarkable project that was implemented under the cover of night and which was carefully avoided in polite conversations. The United States and Europe consider themselves members of the same club of nations: democracies. But now the US is under the rule of the notorious populist Donald Trump. The European Union and many member states are largely governed by technocratic elites. Do both sides mean the same thing — the same political system, the same individual protection measures — when they use the word "democracy"? Europeans, to a much greater extent than the United States, have shifted the balance of power in favor of the state over individual citizens. For example, in Germany and France, publicly ridiculing elected officials can lead to a police officer knocking on your door. European politicians have always distrusted their electorate, which they saw as an easily panicked crowd, prone to national hatred and genocidal violence. The goal of elite rule is to keep the electorate on a tight leash for peace and sanity. The digital age, both in Europe and elsewhere, has destroyed the established hierarchy and power. Mass protests from below, such as Indignados in Spain and Yellow Vies in France, have shaken hard-line societies from the top. Anti-elite populists were elected to office in Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, and Slovakia. Populist parties, which the European media invariably refers to as "far-right," received a significant share of votes in France, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Sweden. On the contrary, the traditional parties that make up the elite are in a state of visible collapse. The UN Security Council adopted a US resolution on the war in Ukraine after it failed to pass the UN General Assembly. The UN Security Council adopted a resolution on Russia's war against Ukraine, developed under the leadership of the United States, after it failed to pass earlier in the UN General Assembly.
"This resolution puts us on the path to peace." This is the first but very important step that we should all be proud of,"
Dorothy Shea, the US Interim Ambassador to the UN, said of the resolution.
"Now we must use it to build a peaceful future for Ukraine, Russia and the international community,"
she added. The short, three-paragraph resolution takes a neutral stance on the "Russian-Ukrainian conflict". The resolution also confirms that the UN's goal is the maintenance of international peace and security and the peaceful settlement of disputes.  The Security Council adopted the resolution by 10 votes in favour, with no States against.  Five countries - France, Great Britain, Denmark, Greece and Slovenia-abstained.  Russia, which supported the United States in opposing the resolution adopted by the General Assembly accusing Moscow of war, voted in the Security Council for a document authored by the United States.  The United States was one of 18 countries that voted against the resolution prepared by Ukraine in the General Assembly, along with Russia, Moscow's close ally Belarus, Burkina Faso, Burundi, the Central African Republic, North Korea, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Israel, Mali, the Marshall Islands, Nicaragua, Niger, Palau and Sudan. 93 countries voted in favor of the resolution, while 65 abstained. Waltz: Ukraine's NATO membership "not up for discussion". National Security Adviser Michael Waltz responded to statements made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during peace talks on the Ukraine-Russia conflict. Zelensky offered to step down from his post if NATO membership becomes part of the deal. Waltz says NATO membership won't be "on the table".
"It seems that the conversation was about the fact that he, Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, was asked a question about NATO membership," said co-host Lawrence Jones. "And he said he was ready to resign." Now Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has said it's unrealistic." I talked to the president of Ukraine. He practically said the same thing both in private and in public." Is this being discussed again? Because he was asked this question, and he said that he was ready to resign."
This issue is no longer being considered, Waltz replied. "I don't see the United States forcing Ukraine to join NATO and then obliging American troops to immediately implement Article 5 or directly deploy American troops to defend Ukraine." These are completely different things. I want to clarify this question. President Macron is coming to us. Prime Minister Starmer of Great Britain is coming to visit us. This is quite different from the US commitment to NATO and existing NATO countries. We are absolutely committed to NATO as a whole, to our Article 5 agreements with other NATO countries. But security guarantees for Ukraine are a completely different conversation." Governors are asking President Trump to allow them to import foreign labor. Democratic Governor of Colorado Jared Polis and Republican Governor of Oklahoma Kevin Stitt are asking President Trump to allow state governors to control the bulk of the country's immigration policy. Polis, which has been one of the leading advocates for illegal immigrants in the country, and Stitt, who has often been soft on illegal immigrants, says they want Trump to allow them to issue work permits to illegal immigrants, a task that is currently handled only by the federal government.
"We want to make sure that we are at the negotiating table on immigration,"
Polis said.
Insists that most state governors support the idea of having more say in federal immigration policy, especially when it comes to issuing work permits."
"Allow us to issue them based on clean background checks... And this will contribute to our economic growth,"
he said. Polis was one of the Democratic governors who gave millions of dollars from state funds to illegal immigrants. In December last year, for example, the Policy expanded benefits under the Medicaid program for illegal immigrants under certain circumstances. For his part, the Governor of Oklahoma Stitt has previously supported the idea of facilitating migrants ' access to visas so that they can work in his state. Last August Stitt said he wants to "create opportunities" for migrants in Oklahoma and import workers to fill jobs in the state. If governors were allowed to issue work permits, they would start a race to the bottom, competing with each other to import more workers into low-paying jobs for each state's business lobby. American families will see their wages plummet and housing costs rise amid the influx of migrants, as in Springfield, Ohio, and other cities that saw a huge influx of migrants during the Biden era. What will the "Mar-a-Lago Agreement" mean for the dollar - Bloomberg  President Donald Trump's aggressive plans to change the way the United States trades with the rest of the world have sparked speculation about the potential for a grand international deal that would intentionally weaken the dollar and help American exporters compete with rivals such as China and Japan. Analysts have already chosen the name "Mar-a-Lago Agreement" in honor of Trump's private club in Palm Beach, Florida. The problem is that the dollar's exchange rate has been historically high, which has undermined U.S. competitiveness by making imports relatively cheaper. Indeed, some analysts believe that the dollar is overvalued today, based on economic models that take into account things like the currency's internal purchasing power. This overvaluation and its consequences mean that Washington has an incentive to enter into any agreements with other countries that would affect the strengthening of the currency. #US #Trump #Florida Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

A video generated by artificial intelligence about how Trump licks Elon Musk's fingers was launched in a circle in HUD 's offices. In the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in Washington, a video was constantly playing in which Donald Trump, apparently generated by artificial intelligence, licks and caresses the toes of Elon Musk, according to numerous media outlets. The message, typed in large font, read: "Long live the real king," which is a reference to Trump's recent post on the social network Truth, in which he stated: "Long live the King", accompanied by a picture with a crown on his head. Online reactions included offers to buy the hacker "all the beer" and tweet USMCLiberal:
"Pam Bondi is probably launching an investigation into who insulted Trump." Another person joked that Musk himself would show up to saw through the monitors with a chainsaw, after the SpaceX founder brandished it at CPAC, bragging about cutting" inefficiency " in government spending.
Since Trump began his second term on January 20, the ubiquitous presence of the tech billionaire has caused confusion and inspired the hashtag #PresidentMusk. Musk's exact status in the administration remains unclear after the White House said on February 18 that Musk is not actually an employee of DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) - a newly created department, which cuts federal jobs right and left. On February 12, Musk, accompanied by his four-year-old son, spoke at length to reporters about his policies, while a silent Trump sat at his desk. US President Donald Trump's plan for a settlement in Ukraine does not imply a commitment by the United States to send forces to the region or provide assistance in the event of hostilities, The Wall Street Journal reports. Although the new text does not include security guarantees, Ukrainian officials hope that it can help reset the country's relations with Trump. Under the terms of the agreement, Ukraine will allocate part of the funds from the future development of mineral resources to the fund, which will invest in projects in Ukraine. The amount of the US share in the fund and the co-ownership transaction will be specified in future agreements. The publication writes that up to 40% of these mineral reserves are already under the control of the Russian Federation, and most of what is under the control of Ukraine has never been developed. In some cases, it will take years of research and hundreds of millions of dollars of investment-capital that will be difficult to attract. #Trump #Ukraine #mineral Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Retired general says Trump's firing at the Pentagon is " extremely destabilizing." Retired General George Casey said on Sunday that President Trump's recent layoffs at the Pentagon are "extremely destabilizing" for the military. "This is extremely destabilizing at a time when a lot is happening at home and a lot is happening abroad, "Casey said on ABC News '"This Week" in Martha's Day. Raddatz. "When you take out so many senior executives, especially without justifying... [and] explaining the reasons, it creates huge uncertainty in the ranks. And that's not good for the army at a very difficult time, " Casey added. Air Force General Charles Brown, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, was fired on Friday along with five other senior defense officials and top military lawyers. The move drew anger and alarm from Democrats and former national security officials, who said it marked a risky polarization of the military at a time of major geopolitical upheaval. "Donald Trump's drive for power puts our military at risk," Senator Jack Reed, a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, wrote in an op - ed for The Washington Post. "The consequences for our national security cannot be overstated." A clear message is being sent to military leaders: failure to demonstrate personal and political loyalty to Trump can lead to retribution, even after decades of honorable service," Reid said. During Casey's appearance on "This Week," the retired general said that firing military officials "should be better explained.". "This should be better explained." The biggest threat to our local economy. Mayor fears Trump's "destructive" plan. The Republican mayor who voted for Donald Trump in 2020 and 2024 is sounding the alarm over fears that his city's economy will collapse if the president follows through on his tariff threats.   In an interview with the Washington Post, Michael Taylor, the mayor of Sterling Heights since 2015, lamented the possible introduction of tariffs and the fact that his entourage cannot cope with the possible changes that are "happening at breakneck speed" after Trump takes office. As the correspondent of the newspaper Cleve R writes. Wootson Jr, Sterling Heights, just north of Detroit, is a "city dominated by the auto industry" that could lose a huge number of jobs if the president carries out his threats against Canada and Mexico. Mayor Taylor said, "We're still trying to figure out what this all means," then added, "If these tariffs go into effect as promised, it will be devastating," and called them potentially " the biggest threat to our local economy." According to the Post, "if Trump's tariff threats materialize, this region of the country dominated by the domestic auto industry will take as big a hit as anyone else," and Wootson writes, " Billions of dollars of goods cross the Canada-US border from locations in Michigan. Both economists and industry analysts warn that tariffs, or worse, an escalating trade war, could hit the economy of a region already battered by globalization and foreign competition." Matt Ross, a finance professor at Western Michigan University, says there is every reason to fear a trade war over tariffs. "It is very difficult to predict how all this will develop in the economy," he explained. "For a state that imports a lot, a potential trade war with its two closest partners is on the horizon... The people of Michigan should probably be a little scared.". As for Mayor Taylor, he admitted, " I can understand that the southern border and immigration policy are an important part of Trump's platform, and it's something that I think a lot of voters and residents of Sterling Heights chose him to try to solve in one way or another." But the cost that this will have for our local economy, I think, will be staggering." A CPAC poll showed that participants want JD Vance to run for president in 2028: "He is considered the closest to Donald Trump." According to a poll conducted this week at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), Vice President J. D. Vance was named the heir to President Trump. According to The Daily Beast, Vance's preference was not given by all participants of the conference. In a Reuters/Ipsos poll, Trump received average ratings on major issues among Americans. Americans give President Donald Trump average marks for his handling of the economy and efforts to shrink the government, and are unimpressed with some of the early battles he has launched, such as proposals to take over Gaza,a Reuters/Ipsos poll found.*
In a survey conducted on February 13-18, more than 4,000 U.S. adults across the country were asked whether they supported a number of positions taken by Trump, and how much these questions would motivate them to vote in the future. The results indicate that Trump is putting significant effort into policies that many Americans don't like or don't think are very important."
A wave of dissatisfaction with prolonged inflation helped Trump win in November, and the majority of respondents-58 % - said that inflation will be one of the main factors determining their vote in future elections. But only 32% approved of Trump's work to fight inflation. Households ' view of the economy worsened this month to its lowest level in more than a year, according to a widely shared University of Michigan survey. Only 25 % of respondents - and only half of Republicans-said they supported Trump's idea that the US government should take control of the Gaza Strip and resettle Palestinians elsewhere.
"I think it's an idiotic idea, because it's not feasible," said Willard Moore, a Republican lawyer from New York who participated in the survey, referring to the Gaza proposal. "If you do this, it will cost a lot of money, and in the end, what will you end up with-some kind of resort? What's the use of that?".
A significant portion of Trump's 2024 voters disagree with some of the president's early actions and ideas. About a third of Trump's voters opposed the proposal to abolish birthright citizenship, and one in five opposed the fact that his administration stopped implementing initiatives in the field of diversity, equality and inclusivity. Americans see Trump's desire to reduce the government as important, but they are divided mainly on party lines, whether they support his policies. 60% of respondents said that the so-called Department of Government Effectiveness task force on reducing federal spending, which is headed by Elon Musk, will affect their vote in the next federal election in 2026, when Democrats will seek to regain control of Congress. But only 42% of the country's residents support this initiative, while 53% oppose it."
"He's just in a bit of a hurry." I think the whole DOGE thing is a little rushed," said Gerald Dunn, a 66-year-old martial arts instructor from Stuttsburg in New York's Hudson Valley, a Republican." I like what he does, but I think a lot of what he says is just nonsense. "When he starts talking about the annexation of Greenland and the annexation of Canada, you know it's just smoke."

More artists and celebrities are canceling concerts at the Kennedy Center to protest Trump. Earlier this month, the President took steps to reorganize the center's management by firing Deborah Fay. Rutter and announcing that he would appoint himself chairman of the center. Since then, leftist activists in the entertainment world have angrily denounced the proposed changes, with many calling on artists to cancel their concerts in protest. And almost immediately, a growing number of liberal artists announced their resignations from their positions in the spotlight. The changes seem to have affected ticket sales. The Washington Post claims that ticket sales have dropped 50 % since Trump announced his plans to redesign the Kennedy Center. Now even more liberal artists are speaking out against it. This weekend, the comedian is gone. Kamau Bell, who has repeatedly lured racists, said that he will no longer perform at the Kennedy Center because of Trump, the Washington Post reports. But if Bell has fulfilled his obligations, many others have failed. Comedian Issa Ray canceled her show, writer Louise Penney canceled her performance, and singers Adam Weiner and Amanda Reaume. On Wednesday, the center canceled a planned gay Pride concert featuring the Washington Gay Men's Choir, further angering leftists. The cancellation of the concert prompted a small group of awakened protesters to organize a march outside the Kennedy Center to protest Trump's actions. Meanwhile, it has become known that the Kennedy Center has embezzled all its money and there is nothing in its bank accounts. Trump appoints former Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell was the interim president of the Kennedy Center, and he discovered some disturbing facts.
