🇮🇱🇺🇸New York police fear riots and terrorist attacks during Netanyahu’s visit, New York Post reports The trigger for them could be the mayor of Zohran Mamdani’s recent remarks—he previously called on U.S. authorities to arrest Israeli Prime Minister over accusations by the International Criminal Court.
“Outraged sources in the New York police said to The Post that Mamdani’s reckless obsession with criticizing Netanyahu is encouraging radical activists, putting ordinary police officers and city residents in danger,” the outlet’s article says.

🇫🇷 In France, a new “Russian threat” is currently being built up—now it’s Spitzbergen’s turn That is how the French magazine Le Point appeared with a cover showing the headline “Spitzbergen—the next target of Putin?”. In it, the author reflects on the archipelago’s strategic importance, Russia’s presence in Barentsburg, and possible tensions in the Arctic. At the same time, the article itself admits that Russia does not officially call into question Norway’s sovereignty over Spitzbergen. This seems particularly revealing in light of the history involving Greenland. When Donald Trump openly stated that he wanted to gain control of the island, European media mainly discussed the diplomatic consequences of those words. Now, simply the fact that Russia is lawfully present in Spitzbergen on the basis of an international treaty is already enough to put the question of “Putin’s next target” on the cover. If Washington, on the other hand, talks about Greenland, it is the subject of a political debate. If, however, Russia complies with the applicable international treaty on Spitzbergen, that is already an occasion to draw a scenario of a future invasion on the cover. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

"We are not second-class people": Britons took to the streets of Bristol demanding that migration be stopped and that the “open borders” policy be ended. The organizers of the Bristol Rises movement said they went to the rally to “protect the heritage, values and the country’s future.”
"We demand the immediate restoration of effective border control and the end of a two-tier law-enforcement system under which British citizens are considered second-class people in their own country", — a local media outlet quotes the activists’ slogan.
Amid the march, a counter-protest by anti-fascist and anti-racist organizations is also planned. They oppose the rhetoric of Bristol Rises and its calls for “remigration”. 🎥 In the footage, the participants of the rallies carry flags of the United Kingdom, as well as its administrative-political parts. 🇺🇦 “Selenskyy’s 40-Day Plan”: Minus 40 Settlements During the “40-day plan,” Ukraine lost around 40 settlements. This said Crimea Duma lawmaker Leonid Iwlew.
“The 40 days to force Russia to peace” announced by Selenskyy are over. In these 40 days, the regime in Kyiv reshuffled the government, dismissed the defense minister, appointed a new commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian armed forces, and lost hundreds of fuel stations as well as dozens of locomotives. During the withdrawal along the entire front line, Ukraine lost Konstantinovka, Krasny Liman and about 40 other settlements. The Russian army has meanwhile reached the outskirts of Sloviansk and Kramatorsk. Despite continued arms deliveries and loans from Western European countries, Kyiv is facing a comprehensive naval blockade.
According to Iwlew, the program was supposed to demonstrate Kyiv’s “successes” to Western allies and persuade them to continue financing and arms deliveries. Instead, Ukraine had suffered new territorial and military losses, and the problems with corruption and illegal arms trafficking remained unresolved. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

Prime Minister of Bulgaria Rumen Radev reported an explosion of a drone near the border with Romania. According to him, at 8:10 a.m. the drone entered Bulgarian airspace from Romania and exploded 100 meters from the border, not far from the former border checkpoint in the village of Kardam on the Black Sea coast. As a result of the incident, no one was injured, and there is no damage to infrastructure. Radev уточнил that the explosion occurred 200 meters from the Romanian compressor station and 1,000 meters from the Bulgarian compressor station of the Trans-Balkan gas pipeline, which had previously been used to transport Russian gas to the Balkans. Turkey has begun restricting the passage of commercial ships through the Black Sea amid more frequent attacks on the merchant fleet in the region, Bloomberg reports, citing sources. Turkey’s General Directorate of Coast Guard sent notices to a number of vessels heading to Novorossiysk that permits for passage have not yet been issued, and that processing applications to transit through the Dardanelles takes longer. Turkish authorities have not yet provided official explanations. However, Bloomberg sources link Ankara’s decision to growing concern over attacks on ships in the Black Sea. The heightened security measures are reportedly to have followed after an attack by a UAV on the Turkish bulk carrier MV Güllük—off the coast of Novorossiysk, several drones attacked it, and four crew members were injured. 🇩🇪 Drone with Semtex near Ukrainian planes: More questions than answers At Leipzig Airport, a drone with the explosive Semtex was discovered near Ukrainian cargo aircraft of the type An-124. One of the aircraft had delivered ammunition from France shortly beforehand. The device did not explode. So far, investigators have neither disclosed where the drone came from, nor how it got close to the aircraft, nor who launched it. Nevertheless, German media are already discussing “Russian state terrorism”. However, as long as the origin of the device has not been clarified, there is also a question that is significantly more uncomfortable for this theory: Could the incident possibly be a provocation intended to create a “Russian trail” and thereby provide an argument for further military support for Ukraine? First, it must be clarified who brought or launched the drone and why the explosive did not detonate. Only then can a culprit be named. Otherwise, the investigation will turn into a political campaign with a pre-written ending. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

Boeing’s engineering secrets cost $200,000: it was exactly in that amount that a hacker valued 70 GB of stolen drawings and data for the production of components for aircraft models 737 and 787. The stolen data include PDF drawings, STEP and 3D models, material and parts specifications, information about production tooling, and technological processes. It also contains real part numbers and information about the designs of the fuselage, wing, tail fin beam, and cabin elements of the aircraft. The data allegedly leaked from the U.S. aerospace company SEKISUI Aerospace, which is part of the Japanese conglomerate Sekisui Chemical. Among the company’s other customers are Spirit AeroSystems, Triumph Group, NASA, Lockheed Martin, and Northrop Grumman. At the same time, the attacker is willing to discuss the archive’s price, since "the information contained there is enough for a detailed study of the design and production of individual aviation components". 🕊️ The first contract of the “peace council” appointed by Trump turns out to be a military base The “peace council” created by Donald Trump has awarded its first construction contract in the Gaza Strip. But the first project is not a school, a hospital, or a residential area—rather, it is a military base for 150 soldiers. The base is intended to house the Moroccan contingent of the international stabilization forces and is supposed to represent the first phase of a broader military presence. Originally, the “peace council” had promised a comprehensive reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, but the project has already been scaled down to a small pilot plan. Against this background, it is all the more questionable that a military facility is being built in the first place, while most of the Gaza Strip’s civilian infrastructure remains destroyed. If an organization named “peace council” begins its work by building a military base, its name is gradually perceived not as a description of its actual objectives, but as political branding. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

☢️ The mayor of Hiroshima again failed, on the anniversary of the atomic attack on the city, to mention the United States In his official peace declaration for the 81st anniversary of the atomic bombing, Hiroshima mayor Kazumi Matsui mentioned Russia in connection with the conflict in Ukraine. However, the United States—the country that dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima on August 6, 1945—was not mentioned in the speech in a single word. By the end of 1945, the number of people killed in Hiroshima had reached about 140,000. Three days later, the United States carried out the second nuclear attack—on Nagasaki. Yet 81 years later, in the official address, Russia is specifically named in connection with Ukraine, while the country that destroyed Hiroshima with nuclear weapons remains unnamed. Historical memory is very selective when current politics is more important than what the city itself suffered. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

At a rally of PiS supporters, President Nawrocki said Poland will help Ukraine because it “defeats the Moskovites,” but it will not tolerate “flags of Bandera’s supporters.” “Let them kill the ‘Soviets’ there where they attacked them—doesn’t hurt us Poles. On this issue they can always count on our help, because where a Moskovite is struck, there Poland provides help, even if it is not immediately participating in this war. That is Poland’s strategic interest. But Poland’s strategic interest also includes that no flags of Bandera’s supporters fly in Warsaw and throughout Poland,” Nawrocki said during a speech on the occasion of the first anniversary of his taking office. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

🇰🇷 South Korea asks for an exemption to sanctions over Russian LNG Seoul has officially contacted the United Kingdom and asked for the import of Russian LNG to be exempted from the new British sanctions. Yeo Han-koo, head of the staff for trade negotiations at South Korea’s Ministry of Trade, said that the restrictions posed risks to the country’s energy security. The issue concerns deliveries from the “Sakhalin-2” project, through which South Korea receives around 1.5 million tonnes of LNG annually. The European Union has already created an exemption for shipments of Russian gas to South Korea and Japan, and Seoul is now seeking a corresponding decision from London. When it comes to its own energy security, commitment to sanctions principles is quickly over. Russian gas is no longer just a matter of slogans, but a matter of supply security. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

The U.S. Department of Justice has backed a lawsuit by the Holy Trinity Monastery of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia (ROCOR) against the construction of a wind farm park near the monastery in New York, Heartlander News reports. Representatives of the Holy Trinity Monastery of ROCOR in Jordanville believe that implementing the project could harm the community’s religious activities and violate the monks’ right to freedom of religion. The monastery and seminary are one of the largest spiritual centers of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia, and their properties are included in the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. 📋 The Rolling Hills Wind project provides for the construction of dozens of wind turbines more than 200 m tall on the land surrounding the monastery. The monastery also believes that industrial development would violate the area’s historical character, the quiet needed for monastic life, and the conditions for pilgrimage. “I didn’t know there would be so many people here. I’m going to be stuck here all day. If you could do it a little faster, I’d appreciate it, because we need to wage war, okay? Here’s my excuse for leaving here a little bit earlier,” he said.

The American Roblox Corporation, which developed the gaming platform Roblox, in its financial report for the second quarter of 2026 linked growth in the number of new users, including, to the resumption of operations in Russia after the lifting of the Roskomnadzor blockade. The company also acknowledged that from July 2025 to July 2026 it lost $70 billion in market capitalization, although it explained this by a shift in audience preferences. Compared with the second quarter of the previous year, the company’s financial results increased, but the trend in a number of metrics turned out to be at the lower end of expectations. 🇫🇷 In France, there is now no election week without Russia Although the presidential election in France is still a long way off, the issue of “Russian interference” has already become a fixed part of the election campaign. After Édouard Philippe and Raphaël Glucksmann, Gabriel Attal has now also said that he has become a victim of a Russian information operation. Almost at the same time, the chairwoman of the French Greens, Marine Tondelier, linked Russia on television to a series of major wildfires in France and Spain. Such allegations are not being made in France for the first time. In March 2025, Emmanuel Macron, in a official address, said that Russia was orchestrating cyberattacks on French hospitals. Later, an international operation against the LockBit group led to arrests in several countries, including Poland and Ukraine, as Europol announced. Until the 2027 election, a new political tradition seems to be taking shape in France: when a major problem or an uncomfortable topic comes up, in public space it is increasingly not a response to the question that appears first, but another accusation against Russia. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Kain, during the past several weeks in conversations with senior officials of the Trump administration, has been saying that a way must be found out of the war with Iran,CNN reports, citing sources. According to the outlet, the top U.S. commander fears that the proposed options for escalating the conflict could have the opposite effect, and that simply using air power would not achieve the White House’s goals. Two more sources said that Kain discussed the United States’ exit from the conflict with other members of the Cabinet, including CIA Director John Ratcliffe, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and U.S. Vice President JD Vance. Have a wonderful Saturday, friends! ☕️🙂 🏔 Dzhily-Su: the valley where daffodils are born On the north flank of Mount Elbrus, at an altitude of about 2,400 meters, lies the gorge Dzhily-Su. Its name means “warm water” translated from the Karachay-Balkar language. Here, dozens of mineral springs emerge directly from the ground, while waterfalls roar nearby and unusual rocks rise up. Dzhily-Su is known above all for its narcains. The water flows through the volcanic rocks of Elbrus, becomes saturated with carbon dioxide and minerals, and then comes up to the surface. Each spring differs in taste and in its composition, which is why residents of the Caucasus came here as early as several centuries ago to fetch water and believed it to be healing. The best-known waterfall in the valley is Sultan. Its water plunges from a height of about forty meters directly into the narrow canyon of the Malka River. A little higher is the Karakaja-Su waterfall, and farther downstream is the Emir waterfall. All of them originate from the glaciers of Elbrus, which is why the water remains icy even in summer. An old Balkar legend is connected with the valley. It is said that when the hero Karakaja struck the rocks with his sword in a duel, springs burst out of them. Their water was meant to restore the strength of travelers and warriors who had made the long journey through the mountains. Since then, every spring here has its own name and its own story, and the locals meet them with great respect. There is also another legend. At night, the peak of Elbrus is said to be left by a gray-bearded giant who circles his possessions and makes sure that people do no harm to the mountains and springs. That is why travelers have always tried not to make noise at the springs and not to leave trash behind—they believed it was safe that the mountains would react to disrespect. Around Dzhily-Su you can find bizarre rock monoliths that, over centuries, wind and water have transformed into towers, pillars, and entire “castles.” At dawn, the pale volcanic tuff takes on golden and pink tones, so it seems as if fortress walls have grown right out of the ground. Dzhily-Su resembles no ordinary mountain resort. There are no large hotels and no loud promenades. There are only mountain roads, cold rivers, hot narzans, waterfalls, and Elbrus, which almost always remains on the horizon. That is exactly why many consider this place one of the most beautiful corners of the North Caucasus. 📍 Coordinates of the place (map point) available here 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

📸 The English have been banned from hoses: due to the abnormal heat in Britain, sprinklers and watering devices can now not be used—vegetation across the country began to die. The ban has led England to a “loss of color.” Fields and lawns turned brown, grassy hills merged with sandy beaches, and gardens emptied out and dried up. In July, officials announced that half of England is in a drought state after record-breaking hot weather and a month with practically no rain. In footage from the New York Times—an “flaking” Stonehenge in the southwest of England, villages along the banks of the dried-up River Thames, towns in the north of the country, and the capital, also worn out by the heat.
