📚 THERE IS NO ANTIMEMETICS DIVISION
qntm
Year: 2021
🌐 English
An antimeme is an idea with self-censoring properties; an idea which, by its intrinsic nature, discourages or prevents people from spreading it.Antimemes are real. Think of any piece of information which you wouldn't share with anybody, like passwords, taboos and dirty secrets. Or any piece of information which would be difficult to share even if you tried: complex equations, very boring passages of text, large blocks of random numbers, and dreams...But anomalous antimemes are another matter entirely. How do you contain something you can't record or remember? How do you fight a war against an enemy with effortless, perfect camouflage, when you can never even know that you're at war?Welcome to the Antimemetics Division. No, this is not your first day.

There’s always a bit of a danger that reapers will be turned into creepers though. When that happens, you’ve gotta switch it up.
A good way to think of it is that magicians weaponize spooks to carry out their will, while npc cattle are the true believers enchanted by the spooks.
It then goes to question - what, if any - is a good spook?
I think a good spook is one with liberative potential. Spooks that empower people to rebel against their own enslavement, so they can be free.
Sort of like a reaper virus. Reapers are self-replicating computer viruses, that actively hunt down and destroy creepers … creepers are computer viruses that cause harm.
Good magicians cast reapers, not creepers.
I find it difficult to genuinely hate someone when I know they’re just a npc repeating memes like a parrot. They just as easily could’ve been my parrot. They are worthless bags of meat with a voice box attachment, on both sides of any given issue. The only people worth your time are those who are free enough from spooks, to actually use intention and know what they’re doing. In other words, other magicians.
People wish malice on you due to bad ideas, attack bad ideas. The masses of people infected with those ideas are just sick idiots who don’t exert their own agency. They’re enslaved to malice, because they’re unthinking goyim trapped in a web of spookery.
The coming feudalism is nothing but a means of securing power & control for an established elite, it doesn’t make the cattle less cattle-like.
Of course. Doesn't change the fact that they wish malice on you.
It is in moments like this where I vaguely embrace the coming feudalism.
They don’t know any better, they just repeat what they’re propagated and programmed to
I was, for some reason, surprised at the support this got from white people.
Well fuck Miles Davis, but when he died I don’t think I’d need to lip off about it.
His comment about choking a white man is an ugly vulgarity, that’ll tarnish his memory all on its own, it doesn’t need us to tarnish ourselves.
I asked this because I saw someone quoting Miles Davis (who I had never heard of before) saying that if he had one hour left on earth, he'd spend it choking a white man - taking his moment and making it slow.
When someone dies, their body stops working forever. Their body doesn’t breathe anymore, its heart doesn’t beat, and it doesn’t feel anything anymore. It’s not like sleeping. The person is gone and we don’t get to see them, or hug them, or talk to them again.
Dying makes a lot of people feel sad and sometimes scared. That’s okay. It’s why we hug and kiss the people we love and try to be kind. Being alive is special.
Some people think that after the body stops working, their ghost goes somewhere happy. What do you think?
My 4 year old asked me what happens when we die. What do you answer to a 4 year old?
Our side of politics are full of nasty people, because they don’t have empathy or respect for anyone but themselves and their own version of perfect.
If I died tomorrow, and people cared enough to comment - I’d just get shit on for being a degenerate or something, despite dedicating a decade of my life to speaking out for our people. It’s never enough. There’s not one person who would be given a free pass … unless they’re a historical loser who you’ve romanticized, their shit don’t stink apparently.
No one will ever pass the ridiculous purity tests, and so everyone is always pissed on in their grave.
But more precisely, most of the time when people like Dolly Parton or Tim Curry die - the haters don’t even have real “sins” to point to, they have to fabricate and exaggerate something to be negative about, for the sake of being negative.
For example, Dolly encouraged people to get vaccinated.
She also spent millions and millions of her own dollars over the decades, funding healthcare and medical facilities for Eastern Tennessee, because they’ve objectively been neglected and left without proper medical support … she heard about COVID, and knew people were dying from it, so she threw a million dollars at vaccine research and when it came out, she wanted to help people, so she encouraged them to take it.
She’s not Fauci, she didn’t do some nefarious scheme to kill people and cover up data.
She just wanted to help, and spent money from the goodness of her heart to do so.
Now, people call her all sorts of names before her body is even cold, for just being a lifelong steward and advocate for her people.
I think it’s gross to not have an inkling of nuance, just to drag a good person through the mud.
That’s true, and in fact it is the wrong way to tame them anyways.
To put it in a Christian context, did Jesus sacrifice himself because he hated man for his sins or because he loved man in spite of his sins?
