In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Dear patriotic and loyal Iranian people,
As you are aware, a Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the President of Iran and the United States. In the process of reaching this stage, the relevant officials made earnest efforts driven by caution and good intentions, although the American President resorted to various forms of pressure due to his inability to achieve this outcome.
Naturally, I held a different opinion, but I granted permission based on the commitment made by the honorable President of the Republic, in his capacity as head of the Supreme National Security Council, on behalf of himself and all members, to safeguard the rights of the Iranian people and the Resistance Front. He explicitly declared his willingness to bear responsibility, stating, as His Excellency affirmed, that they would not submit to the American side if it attempted to impose expansionist dictates or demand more. From this moment onward, we—that is, you, the proud people, and this humble servant—will await the fulfillment of the mentioned conditions. However, it is self-evident that the direct negotiations to be held in the future will in no way imply submission to the enemy's opinion. We all hope that the prayers of our Master (May God hasten his glorious reappearance) will inspire the proud people of Iran with all kinds of victories and triumphs. | 39 |

Announcement of the Secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council Regarding the Agreement to End the War Between Iran and America
To the noble Iranian nation:
The Islamic Republic of Iran, under the leadership of its martyr leader, has surpassed the Zionist American enemy, and under the measures of the Supreme Leadership of the system (May Allah preserve him), with the support of all sons of the people and the efforts of the mujahideen from the fighters of Islam, and after a period of difficult and intensive negotiations lasting several months, and based on the decision of the Supreme National Security Council, the text of the memorandum of understanding regarding the negotiations to end the war (Islamabad Negotiations) between Iran and America has been finalized on the evening of 24 Khordad.
Pursuant to the agreements reached, the war and military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon, shall cease immediately and permanently as of tonight. In addition, the naval blockade against Iran shall end immediately and completely.
This memorandum of understanding will be officially signed on Friday, 29 Khordad.
Negotiations for the final agreement will be postponed until after the implementation of the other party's obligations according to the memorandum of understanding. The Islamic Republic of Iran expresses its appreciation for the efforts of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Government of Qatar.
