Former Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Allen Bailey has died at 37.
He was found dead at his Florida home by his wife on Tuesday. His brother told TMZ the family believes it was natural causes. No official cause has been released.
Bailey played 10 NFL seasons (eight with the Chiefs, two with the Falcons), recording 22 sacks and 248 tackles. He was drafted in 2011 out of Miami.
How many more of these before people stop accepting “natural causes” as the full story?

Mortality differed substantially hospital to hospital — different protocols, different thresholds, DIFFERENT RESULTS. In every other field that variation is the most valuable data you have: you study the spread to learn what the good performers did differently.
