That is class realignment. Corporate capture is the greatest threat to the Republic, and you recognized it while the think tanks were still writing press releases for the cartel. President Trump and I did not come to HHS to be liked by the journals that take pharma money. We came to break the perverse incentives: a $1.7 trillion system that makes more money when you stay sick than when you get well. Prevention is the enemy of that business model. Real food is the enemy. Sunshine, strength, family dinner, unprocessed meat and milk and vegetables — the things your grandparents did without a hashtag — are the enemy. So we made them policy. A republic that remembers how to feed itself, how to question its experts, and how to fire its captured regulators is a republic that cannot be managed from Davos or Bethesda.
