✍️ Ever noticed how some blogs seem to have an article for every question you can think of?
You start reading about SEO audits, then find guides on technical SEO, keyword research, site structure, reporting, and dozens of related topics. Everything is connected, and finding the next piece of information feels easy.
It's a content pillar strategy.
📚 A content pillar is a comprehensive page built around a broad topic. Instead of trying to answer every question in one article, it gives readers an overview and connects them to more detailed content covering specific subtopics.
According to our latest guide, strong content pillars have a few things in common:
✅ They cover a topic broadly enough to be useful, but stay focused on one subject.
✅ They organize information clearly, so readers can quickly find what they need.
✅ They connect related articles through internal links.
✅ They get updated regularly as new information appears.

A lot of SEO advice still comes down to one thing:
"Get more clicks."
But what if the click can backfire? You can write a title that makes almost anyone curious enough to open the page.
But what happens 10 seconds later? Did they find the answer?
Or did they realize the headline was more interesting than the content itself?
One thing Cyrus Shepard said in our latest podcast stuck with us:
Google can tell when you're clickbait.
Because users react to content all day long, and those reactions leave signals behind.
The conversation is full of examples like this. Worth a watch if you're tired of SEO advice that stops at "improve CTR."

Still choosing websites by DA and buying more backlinks because that's what worked before?
In 2026, search engines can see when a brand is consistently mentioned across trusted websites, reviews, and industry discussions.Which changes the way we think about link building:
building more backlinks isn't enough anymore.
Today, a single expert interview, original research, or in-depth guide can bring more SEO value than dozens of generic articles.
Why?
When people genuinely reference your content, talk about your brand, and share your insights, you're building the kind of trust search engines want to reward.
The real question is:
What signals are search engines using to evaluate trust today?
We've outlined the key steps to becoming a brand that people trust, mention, and reference.

Broken links are everywhere. Help a website owner fix one and have relevant content to suggest.
✅ Resource page outreach
Some websites maintain pages with useful tools, guides, and recommendations.

AI Overviews are no longer at the top of Google.
Now they usually appear just below Sponsored results.
You'd think that would make them less important.
Not really.
They still take up a huge part of the screen and often answer the search before anyone clicks a website. Which means getting featured there is still worth the effort.
So what makes Google pick your content?
From what we're seeing, these things matter most:
✅ Answer real questions, not just target keywords.
✅ Make your content easy for AI to understand and easy for people to read.
✅ Back up your points with original data, examples, and insights.
✅ Build authority beyond your own website.
The tricky part?
We put together a guide with 8 proven tactics, common mistakes to avoid, and real examples of what AI is more likely to pick up.

😅 Every link builder knows this pain:
✓ You find a relevant site,
✓ Get the right contact,
✓ Personalize the email,
✓ Send a follow-up....
and still get hit with the most powerful response in outreach: Silence 👻.
Here's why it keeps happening:
- Your pitch is too generic,
- You are emailing the wrong person,
- This site simply doesn't accept content placements.
One way around it, stop cold emailing strangers and change your mindset.
Adsy is a platform where hundreds of thousands websites have already opted in and are waiting for requests. Set up your filters, pick the fitting sites, and send your first task for the content placement.
You are a few clicks away. Spend that saved energy on literally anything else. 👉 Try it here https://bit.ly/4o4LFC1.

🎮 SEO & AEO game: the responsibility challenge
Traffic is rising, but something still doesn’t add up. More visibility, more clicks, more attention, yet weaker outcomes.
So who’s responsible?
SEO? UX? Content? AI? LLMs? Sales?
The truth is: it’s usually not one thing, and not one team.
🔹Search can bring people in.
🔹AI can surface (or ignore) your brand.
🔹UX can either support intent or break it.
🔹Content can attract, but not always convert.
The gap appears when these parts don’t work as one system.
💬Share your answers in the comments and watch the video to learn how our guest Kristina Bergwall, Director of SEO & AEO, replies to them.

🔎 Search is changing in a way that’s easy to miss unless you’re looking closely.
Have you noticed any shifts in your traffic, visibility, or how your content is being discovered recently?
We’ve been seeing a bigger pattern behind it:
👉 Search is moving from rankings to AI-generated answers. And that changes everything about visibility.
AI doesn’t reward the “best” brands, it rewards the ones it can understand most clearly and confidently interpret.
So the real question becomes: how does AI “read” your brand today? Through structured data, messaging, trust signals, and sources it can rely on.
This is also a key insight from Kristina Bergwall, SEO & AEO Director at Precis, shared in the latest Adsy Talks episode on YouTube.
💬Curious if you’ve noticed this shift in your own work.

💬We need to talk about why SEO still isn't driving revenue.
Most companies still treat SEO as a traffic engine.
📉 But traffic ≠ revenue.
And in siloed teams, traffic often leads nowhere.
New Adsy Talks episode is live. We sat down with Kristina Bergwall, SEO & AEO Director at Precis, to unpack what's actually changing in search.
What we cover:
• Why SEO breaks when teams operate in silos
• Why "traffic up, leads flat" is a structural problem, not an SEO one
• AEO and what AI-driven search means for your visibility
• Why backlinks aren't enough in a citation economy
• How leading brands build answer equity in AI systems
❌The question to stop asking: "why aren't we ranking?" ✅The question that actually matters: "why isn't visibility turning into revenue?"In 2026, SEO isn't about positions. It's about whether your brand is understood, trusted, and selected by the humans and AI. 🔥 Watch new Adsy Talks episode now: https://bit.ly/4u1bYdQ

😲 Traffic dropping? Sales flat? And you’re not really sure what’s going wrong?
The issue might not be your campaigns. It might be your marketing structure.
Most teams still operate in silos.
How it usually looks:
- SEO works on rankings
- Paid works on conversions
- Content works on traffic
- Social works on reach
🤷But here’s the problem: customers don’t experience channels. They experience one continuous journey. And that’s exactly where holistic marketing becomes critical. The real issue with siloed campaigns is simple: 📉 SEO drives traffic that doesn’t convert 📉 Ads convert, but landing pages don’t match messaging 📉 Content performs, but doesn’t influence revenue 📉 Teams optimize locally, not globally So you end up with “good performance” in parts… but weak overall business growth. Modern marketing is shifting from separate channels to connected systems, where success is measured by: → how channels influence each other → how the customer moves across touchpoints → how each step improves the next one 💬Do your SEO, paid, and content teams work separately or as one system?

🤔 Why don't so many brilliant SEO teams grow? They break down audits, spot technical issues in minutes, design “perfect” strategies…
And yet, the team or agency still struggles to scale. Campaigns look solid on paper, but execution is slow, decisions get stuck, and momentum never fully compounds.
📉The truth is that intelligence doesn’t automatically translate into growth. Because business isn’t about perfect thinking. It’s about consistent execution.
People who push the company forward aren’t always the smartest in the room. They’re the ones who:
🔥 Move fast without needing full certainty
🔥 Willing to test before everything is “perfect.”
🔥 Accept that 70% confidence and action beats 100% planning
Meanwhile, many highly skilled SEO professionals get stuck optimizing forever, waiting for the “perfect setup” before they launch, delegate, or scale. And that delay quietly becomes the bottleneck.
💬 What do you think? Do you ever feel the same in your experience?
▶️ And don't forget to check out our latest Adsy Talks episode focused on management in SEO teams and agencies. It is really worth your time: https://bit.ly/4wZ3DKq

😲 Anyone else noticing featured snippets just… disappearing?
We’ve been testing 50+ queries lately and found zero classic featured snippets. Instead, it’s all AI Overviews.
📉 Turns out, ~70–90% of featured snippets have already been replaced by AI summaries by late 2025.
The key difference: snippets are used to highlight one source and drive clicks. AI Overviews pull from multiple sources and often answer everything right there. So fewer clicks, more competition for visibility.
Feels like the game is shifting from “win position zero” → to “be one of the sources AI trusts.” It also means the bar is higher now. Not just quick answers, but depth, structure, and actual authority.
Good news, though: if you were good at snippet SEO, you’re not starting from zero. It’s more like leveling up the same skillset.
👀 Curious, are you already seeing traffic drops or changes from this?
674
🤔 A lot of SEO teams and agencies hit the same invisible ceiling. And it is not because of traffic or rankings. But because founders and senior SEOs don’t let go of the work.
And here’s the uncomfortable part:
If you keep doing SEO yourself, you will become extremely good at it. But your team won’t. And your company won’t scale. The mindset shift is tough: ✅Yes, quality might dip in the short term. ✅Yes, it feels slower at first. But what you’re really doing is: → freeing up your time → giving real ownership to your team → building people who can outperform you over time 🎙 We highly recommend watching the full episode of our new Adsy Talks episode, if you missed it: https://bit.ly/4fvNHZD 😉 What do you think about this thought by Mads Singers, management coach, and consultant? Do you agree or not exactly?
