Looks like the pushback worked.
SEBI may partly reverse the CAS rules.
According to Reuters:
• CAS may not be used for derivatives settlement for at least a year
• Last 30-minute VWAP would be used instead
• CAS would continue for the underlying cash stocks
• Changes could come by month-end
Turns out raising your voice sometimes does matter.
