if Laylatul Qadr is hidden, the Day of Arafah is known. a day when mercy descends, du’as are accepted and sins are forgiven. if there’s a day that can change your life, it’s the Day of Arafah. strive to make the most of it.

After Subuh, take a few moments to send salawat upon our beloved Prophet ﷺ by reciting: ‘Jazallahu ‘Anna Sayyidana Muhammadan ﷺ ma huwa ahluh’ (جزى الله عنا سيدنا محمدًا ﷺ ما هو أهله) Meaning: ‘May Allah reward our master Muhammad ﷺ with the best reward he deserves on our behalf.’ The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever sends blessings upon me once, Allah will send blessings upon him ten times.” — Sahih Muslim, Hadith 408 Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله also mentioned the immense virtues of sending salawat — bringing peace to the heart, forgiveness of sins, increased barakah, and closeness to the Prophet ﷺ. Make it part of your morning after Subuh. A few seconds of salawat can change the entire direction of your day. 🤍

“Hatiku tenang karena mengetahui bahwa apa yang melewatkanku tidak akan pernah menjadi takdirku, dan apa yang ditakdirkan untukku tidak akan pernah melewatkanku” Umar bin Khattab

subhanallah, it is raining right now. 🕊️ du’a when raining: اللّهُمَّ صَيِّـباً نافِـعاً Allahumma shoyibban nafi’a O Allah, make it a beneficial rain! Sahih Bukhari 1032. stay safe everyone! ☔️

Friday Sunnah Reminders 🤍📿 Jumu‘ah is the most blessed day of the week, honoured by Allah and described by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as the best day. Key Sunnahs of Friday: 1. Send abundant selawat upon Rasulullah ﷺ Rasulullah ﷺ said: “The person closest to me on the Day of Resurrection is the one who sent the most Selawat upon me.”Sunan Al-Tirmidhi 484 2. Read Surah Al-Kahfi (first 10, last 10, or ideally the whole surah) The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever reads Surah Al-Kahf on Friday, he will be illuminated with light between the two Fridays.”Narrated by al-Haakim; graded Sahih by al-Albaani 3. Perform ghusl (Jumu‘ah bath) and maintain cleanliness Abu Sa‘id Al-Khudri reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The taking of a bath on Friday is compulsory for every Muslim who has attained puberty, and also cleaning of the teeth with siwak and using perfume if available.”Sahih Bukhari 4. Wear fragrance and presentable clothing Allah says: “Put on your adornment on every occasion of prayer.”Surah Al-A‘raf 7:31 5. Make du‘a to Allah abundantly 6. Trim nails and observe fitrah practices Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه reported: “Five are from the fitrah: circumcision, removing hair below the navel, trimming the moustache, trimming the nails, and removing underarm hair.” 7. Increase du‘a between Asr and Maghrib The Prophet ﷺ said: “On this day there is a time when no Muslim stands and prays, asking Allah for something, but Allah will grant it to him.” — Bukhari & Muslim Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمه الله said this special hour is: “The last hour after Asr.” — Abu Dawud & An-Nasa’i Even if you can’t do everything, don’t leave everything. May Allah accept our deeds and ease our affairs. 🕊 MD @selfreflectionforummah

No matter how exhausted you are from school and work, never abandon your solat. Fatigue may drain the body but every prayer revives the soul with the mercy of Allah. You may come to prayer tired and burdened, yet you leave it with a heart that is lighter, calmer, and strengthened by your connection with Him. Sleep may give rest to the body, but true peace and rest for the soul are found in sujud before Allah. Even on your toughest and busiest days, answer the call to prayer — because solat is not a burden upon your life, it is relief within it.

📶 when our imaan is going up, when we finally can stay in the state of steadfast, when we’re finally “close” to Him, what would be our challenge as a normal human being? it is how we perceive others, as we think that we’re better than them, we would most likely be in the state of riya’. we think that we’re better than them and that we’re doing things just plainly to get the compliments from His servants and not Him. that is something i also fear of becoming, i pray that i will never reach to that state of riya’ and thinking that im better than others around me. wallahu ‘alam, may Allah protect us from being one of those.

✨ A little takeaway for this weekend: we’re all sinners, that is always trying our best to become a better version everyday. be nice to one another, most importantly, be nice to yourself. listen to yourself more than others. you fall in the same sin, you return back to Him. Allah’s mercy is unconditional. do not feel despair in the mercy of الله. but never take Him for granted. let the past stay in the past, you create something new, something for the future. there is something beautiful in you, there definitely is. Allah sees your effort. إن شاء الله
