Friday Sunnah Reminders 🤍📿 Jumu‘ah is the most blessed day of the week, honoured by Allah and described by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as the best day. Key Sunnahs of Friday: 1. Send abundant selawat upon Rasulullah ﷺ Rasulullah ﷺ said: “The person closest to me on the Day of Resurrection is the one who sent the most Selawat upon me.” — Sunan Al-Tirmidhi 484 2. Read Surah Al-Kahfi (first 10, last 10, or ideally the whole surah) The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever reads Surah Al-Kahf on Friday, he will be illuminated with light between the two Fridays.” — Narrated by al-Haakim; graded Sahih by al-Albaani 3. Perform ghusl (Jumu‘ah bath) and maintain cleanliness Abu Sa‘id Al-Khudri reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The taking of a bath on Friday is compulsory for every Muslim who has attained puberty, and also cleaning of the teeth with siwak and using perfume if available.” — Sahih Bukhari 4. Wear fragrance and presentable clothing Allah says: “Put on your adornment on every occasion of prayer.” — Surah Al-A‘raf 7:31 5. Make du‘a to Allah abundantly 6. Trim nails and observe fitrah practices Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه reported: “Five are from the fitrah: circumcision, removing hair below the navel, trimming the moustache, trimming the nails, and removing underarm hair.” 7. Increase du‘a between Asr and Maghrib The Prophet ﷺ said: “On this day there is a time when no Muslim stands and prays, asking Allah for something, but Allah will grant it to him.” — Bukhari & Muslim Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمه الله said this special hour is: “The last hour after Asr.” — Abu Dawud & An-Nasa’i Even if you can’t do everything, don’t leave everything. Allah knows what you don’t: what would happen to you after you get it. Would it bring you closer to Him… or slowly make you forget Him? Would it soften your heart… or make you dependent on the thing instead of the Giver? Would it strengthen your tawakkul… or quietly replace it with attachment to outcomes?

trust that what you want for yourself is something that Allah wants for you too. and it’s Him who has guided you to make du’a. it will be accepted in one way or another. it all starts with you thinking good of Allah. if you keep on believing, the miracles that you want will happen.

🧍🏽‍♂️ loneliness is real, despite the countless friends we have, we will definitely feel lonely at one point of time. seeing how your other mates are far more ahead of you, in terms of love, in terms of job, education. makes you wonder, what am i doing in life, what am i missing? but do not let those thoughts eat you up, you definitely did something, think of the good things you did to the society, the littlest things, as simple as giving a smile to someone. i feel lonely too, despite having ton lots of connections, it is something that everyone of us will feel at one point of time. we just need a constant presence of someone, to remind us that we’re not alone. but it is just how we act upon it, if you ask me how… i honestly, don’t know.. wallahu ‘alam.

sorry to interrupt your scrolling, we may not know each other, but this du’a is for you. may this be the year you finally live the life you’ve been praying for, and may everything fall into place for you in the best way possible.

DU’A FOR PALESTINE. 🇵🇸 O Allah, conceal their faults, calm their fears, and protect them before them and behind them, from their right and from their left, and from above them.

it’s scary how sincere we become when we’re breaking. in the middle of the night, with swollen eyes and a heavy chest, we whisper to Allah like He’s the only one we’ve ever known. every du’a feels real. every word comes from somewhere deep. and then.. when life gets easier.. slowly we stop calling.. not because we don’t believe but because we FORGOT that the one who heard us in our lowest, is the One who gave us that ease. this ayat isn’t just sad. it’s exposing. & what hurts the most isn’t the hardship, it’s realising we only turned to Him when we had nothing else left.. ya Allah, forgive the version of us that only remembers You when we’re hurting 😌

i don’t know who needs to hear this, but if you’ve been struggling with your self-worth, questioning if you’re good enough, or wondering whether anyone will truly love you...hear me out. just be yourself. the right people will love you for who you are. they won’t ask you to become someone else just to be accepted. they won’t make you feel like love must be earned through perfection. instead, they will embrace the real you: your strengths, your softness, your quirks, even the parts you call flaws. because in the eyes of the right people, those flaws do not make you less lovable. if anything, they are part of what makes you beautifully human. the good and bad times you went through, the polished and the imperfect version of you: all of it is what makes you, you. so please, don’t be too hard on yourself. don't let overthinking convince you that you are always lacking. because to the right heart, you are already special simply by being who you are right now. not a future version of you. not a fixed version of you. just you, as you are.

be so confident in Allah’s plan that you don’t even get upset anymore when things don’t go your way.

Subhana Allah, kalau memang Allah kata dia akan lindung orang yang ingati dia, betul2 Allah akan lindung kita, Lindung kita bukan hanya daripada apa yang kurang baik untuk kita, tapi juga daripada apa yang kita inginkan. Kita hanya tahu yang kita tak dapat memiliki sesuatu, tapi Allah nampak keseluruhan cerita kita apa yang kita tak tahu hanya Allah yang tahu ☺️

if a heart becomes attached to anything other than Allah, Allah makes them dependent on what they are attached to and they will be betrayed by it.

stop comparing yourself to others. if Allah wants you to have what others have, He will give it to you. if not now, perhaps at some stage later on. be happy with His decree. learn to accept His plan. if you’re grateful, He will surely grant you more.
