Repost from Vinnie Sullivan
A polite and well dressed rag-and-bone man at a horse auction explains why it was more practical to use a horse than a "motor". I wonder what these working class, often poverty stricken gentlemen would think of how people carry themselves today?

A charming video that shows the old days of Dunfermline in Scotland. We just don't see presenters like this anymore. Nowadays, they've a much lower standard in order which, in turn, lowers the standards of the British Isles as a whole. ⏳️

A beautiful picture of an acorn Harvest in Chingford, Epping Forest, 1904. This area (and it's surrounding areas) is which I grew up. ⏳️

This is Bob, who, in 1966 was a coal mine worker while Jack and Bobby Charlton were playing in the England squad and to aid winning the World Cup. At the time his sons were earning around £20-30 a week. He must have been incredibly proud. ⏳️⚽️

If I ever get to open a gym, It will never play music. You'll have to use headphones, and then, instead of having to turn them up too loud because you're completing with ridiculous speakers, you can take them out and have a moment of peace or listen to the sound of steel.

Britain's Casualties of War: ⚰️
This is Henry Moseley, who was born in Dorset, 1887. He was an English physicist, whose contribution to the science of physics was the justification from physical laws of the previous empirical and chemical concept of the atomic number.
After having invented the periodic table, he was shot and killed during the Battle of Gallipoli (WW1) on 10 August 1915, at the age of 27. Experts have speculated that Moseley could otherwise have been awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1916.
Not only can we only imagine what he would have gone on to achieve being only 27, but how many others who lost their lives, or their minds as a result of the world wars.
What a waste.
