A one-year-old child drowned in a water-filled bucket while playing at his home in Haryana's Faridabad. The child, identified as Aryan, was playing when the incident occurred. His mother was working in another room at the time, while his father was away at work.
Aryan's grandmother, Meena, said that at the time of the incident, the family members were busy with their respective household chores; the child and his mother were upstairs. While his mother was inside a room, Aryan was playing outside the room.
While playing, he wandered towards a bucket of water kept near a bathroom and fell into it headfirst. Meena said that after some time, she realised something was amiss when she could no longer hear the child playing. She then went outside to check and saw that Aryan had fallen into the bucket.
Four days after seven lives were lost under the rubble of a four-storey PG in Satya Niketan, the Delhi government’s response is apparently growing louder but not clearer.
Announcements have come in waves: structural audits, city-wide inspections, bulldozer action, a new law and even a public portal. What is still missing is the most basic element of governance: a concrete, time-bound plan.
On paper, the response appears aggressive. But on the ground, the picture is far more fragmented.

Red Fort Blast NIA Names Umer Un Nabi as Mastermind of Terror Conspiracy
The NIA chargesheet alleges that Umer Un Nabi, who died in the November 2025 Red Fort car blast, was the mastermind and operational lead of the alleged AGuH Interim terror module.

NIA alleges he handled radicalisation, meetings, training, funding and logistics.
The chargesheet also refers to his alleged plan to travel to Afghanistan for “Hijrat.”
Investigators allegedly recovered extremist literature, chemicals and laboratory equipment.
The alleged module reportedly used encrypted messaging platforms and held meetings in J&K and Delhi-NCR.
Over 3,000 UK flights cancelled after an air traffic control technical failure.
Imagine if this happened in India.
“Vishwaguru”, 7.8% GDP and “India is collapsing” attacks would flood social media.
Raghuram Rajan: Why do Indians need flights? Why not walk? Or smuggle bicycles from China? 😂
UK bound flights from India were diverted too. I’m sure someone will soon blame Indian embassies for not pre booking 5 star hotels in every city, town and village worldwide. 😂
UK: “Cancellations allowed passengers to honeymoon elsewhere.”
India: “INDIA’S AVIATION SYSTEM COLLAPSES.”
Same disruption. Very different narrative.
Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court has ordered framing of charges against former Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, Tejashwi Yadav, Rabri Devi and six others in the IRCTC money laundering case.
The court observed a strong suspicion of misuse of official position by Lalu Yadav and a strong possibility that proceeds of crime were acquired in the names of family members and benefited them.
The nine accused have been directed to appear before the court on October 3 for formal framing of charges.

Reporter: You said that oil and gas prices were going to come down. Oil is now back above 100 dollars. How do you explain this to Americans?
Trump: It’s very easy to explain to Americans: all you have to do is say, will you let Iran have a nuclear weapon? The answer is no.
