Wings 1 External certificate business rule change update ! (Aug 2023 cycle onwards)

Dear Associate, On a periodic basis we review Wings1 process / procedures in alignment with business requirements and change them based on business input / feedback. We would like to bring to your kind attention the Hi-Talent business rule change with respect to Digital milestone through ‘Unit Identified External Certification’, effective August 2023 Assessment cycle. You may also refer to the Wings1 SOP which is updated and published accordingly. The below depicts the updated business rule change w.r.t UE External certificate: To summarize, associates should qualify under any one of the below options for achieving the Digital Milestone in Wings1. In view of the above business rule change, we are reopening the survey and it will remain open till 13th August 2023, for the upcoming August 2023 cycle. Please fill in your Tech Track preference by 13th of August 2023. Please note: - Associates who have acquired the below Azure Unit Elective External Certification by 31st May 2023 should not select Azure Cloud Core Programming Track in the survey. Similarly, associates who have acquired below Google ACE certification by 31st December 2022/scored Distinction in Google ACE internal Assessment should not select Google Cloud Core Programming Track in the survey. As both the tracks would hold the same competencies, they cannot be considered for the Milestone rewards. You must also complete the iEvolve pre-requisite for the track that you register in order to be eligible for the proctored assessment. *Wings1 November Assessment Results* !!!! Dear Associates, We are extremely delighted to share with you the update on Elevate Wings1 November 2022 results. For the associates identified as Hi talent (Digital or Innovator as per the business rules defined in SOP), the mailers would be sent by 13th Jan 2023. Results would be published in iEvolve by 20th Jan 2023 and same will be reflected in iEvolve Wings1 Dashboard. The steps to view the results will also be posted in Knome. 🥳🥳🤩🤩

Dear Associates, Please prepare and gear up for the Wings1 2022 November Assessments. Please register your track preference in the survey. Registration Closure Date: 14th Nov 2022 Learning Completion Closure Date: 10th Nov 2022 This survey needs to be filled by all who are planning to appear for the Nov’22 assessment cycle. Please note, the registrations done for Aug’22 assessment cycle is not valid for Nov’22 assessment cycle and so please register again. You need to complete the learning prerequisites (Learning/Direct/Self Declaration of Competencies) in iEvolve for the tracks that you register in the survey, for assessment eligibility. You will be eligible to appear for the proctored assessment upon completing the learning prerequisite in iEvolve on or before 10th November, provided you have high work performance (Appraisal Band A/B or Anniversary Rating 4/5 - if you are not eligible for anniversary band. For freshers who do not have Appraisal Band or Anniversary Rating, only the learning completion will be considered for proctored assessment eligibility). All tracks in Nov assessment cycle will be conducted in TCS premise (physical proctoring) from 26th Nov onwards on weekends only. We shall post the schedule shortly. We will capture your preferred assessment location in the survey but allocating it for assessment would solely depend on seat availability. TCS ID card is mandatory for you to enter TCS premises to take your assessment. If you do not have a TCS ID card, please get in touch with your HR and get the same issued before your assessment date. If you do not carry the TCS ID card with you, on the day of the assessment you would not be allowed to sit for the assessment despite your registration. Associates having TCS laptops need to carry your TCS laptop, and you will be allowed to take the assessment in TCS laptop ONLY. It is recommended that you sort out any laptop issues with the IS team before your assessment. Please register for the assessment along with location preference only if you plan to take up the Nov Wings1 assessment. Your Unit HR and leadership will be notified if you register and not turn up and this will be treated seriously. Please select any one track out of T7 and T9. You cannot appear for both T7 and T9, else you would not be eligible for both T7 and T9. Please note that you would be allowed to take up any 2 Core full stack track, any 1 Biz skill track and any 1 Core Programing track as per the business rules required for achieving the Milestones. Please check your previous cycle results and do not register for the tracks you have already scored a distinction. Please fill the innovator coding challenge track preference only if the prerequisites to take up the challenge are met. You should have a Pass / Distinction in that Core full stack Track from the previous cycles. Hurry up !!! complete your iEvolve prerequisites and register for the Nov Wings1 assessments today!!!! Ans- No needs to apply anywhere, u r already registered. as of now, only complete that track and do hands-on. they will announce the survey form, this only u need to fill, it will be announced in March end or April. Q5. The difficulty level of the exam? Ans- Exam is not Hard or not easy. U need to understand that technology and how u can apply it in real-world projects, and U need to do practice for this from Fresco play hand-on. then u can easily clear this exam. Q6- Exam will be From Home or Center? Ans- Center. All about DCA Tech ----> Q1. What is DCA Tech Traks that newly added, How q they will ask in this? Ans- DCA Tech, It's Focused on a particular Programing language, they added 21 as of now ( like Java, Angular, Python, Android... all lists u can check in knome). and for this no any course id and not any syllabus, bcoz it's similar to Previous DCA but in this no Aptitude or logic like q. it'll be only coding or coding q with some MCQ q, they can add. but all q will be on that programing related only. Q2. what types of q we can expect on DCA Tech? Ans- In this, they have not provided more details yet, but u will get 1 or 2 q and it could be like Problem-based q or HackerEarth challenges like q or CodeVita like q on that Particular language. Some Extra point For Innovators profile---> Q1. If I am on a digital profile from previous TSLP/DCA. Now what do, I do for the Innovators profile. Ans- For the Innovators profile, u need to complete 5 Tracks, so for this, first check In iEvolve Dashboard, how many tracks u completed as of now. then complete the remaining track that is required for the Innovators profile. if you have completed Total of 5 tracks then you'll be eligible for Innovator rewards. ———End———-

Update on ELEVATE WINGS1 MAY ASSESSMENT You need to complete learning tracks on or before 30th April to be eligible for May assessment. Note: If there are path1, path2, path3 then don't we confused. If you are already doing courses from path1 then complete them before 31st March because after 31st March path1 courses will be removed. And if you are going to start your preparation now then choose path2 for courses+assessment or choose path3 for Direct assessment (without completing any course). Chill the new updated pattern of TSLP is way more easier and no need to be confused !! It's a long post but I tried to make it easier to understand. PLEASE READ THE WHOLE POST CAREFULLY before asking further questions ✅Old TSLP had 5 to 6 milestones to get innovator profile (Elevate wings-1 certificate) ✅Now there are only two milestones: 1) Digital milestone (ninja to digital) 2) Innovator milestone (digital to Innovator) The entire Process remains same as previous .. Except for these changes...👇👇 1) Few tracks are removed (biz tracks: B1,B7,B8,B9 and articulation A5 tracks removed). 2) DCA tech tracks included. You can choose tslp tech track or DCA tech track. 3) Previously there was restriction on number of attempts: If you passed any track then you have only 1 chance to reattempt it to get distinction. Now you have unlimited number of attempts. ✅ NINJA TO DIGITAL You need to complete two tracks(1tech(dist.)+1tech(pass) or 1tech(dist.)+1non tech (dist.). Combinations are: 1tech distinction (either tslp or dca tech track) and 1 tech(tslp) pass/dist. Or 1 non-tech with distinction Or read privious pinned post for more clarification on above combinations.
