Ride the Tiger According to Julius Evola, “ride the tiger” refers to an eastern myth which says that when a tiger is in a fury, his overwhelming power may destroy undistinctly everything facing him. In such a situation, the best strategy is to climb up on his back and hang on until he is totally exhausted. Then jump off and kill him. According to Julius Evola, the tiger is an allegory for the modern world. His eponymous book may be grasped as a survival guide during the last stages of Kali Yuga. — Érik Gwas Duw

Understanding Rosenberg (2 of 2) “In English, a ‘myth’ is typically understood as a parable or allegory – as a story, usually untrue or fanciful, that serves to explain some central aspect of human existence. For Rosenberg, however, his myth is not at all fanciful or fictious; it is literally true, a guiding reality. It functions more as a worldview (Weltanschauung), as a total outlook on humanity and the Earth. It provides an overarching framework by which to assess all of history. Perhaps this is why he used the German word Mythus rather than the more common Mythos; the latter is usually a fable or story, but the former can be a guiding ideal.” — Dr. Thomas Dalton, from the Introduction to The Myth of the Twentieth Century [NS-Requiem Publications Edition, pgs. 17-18, 2022] Video clip provided by… @EsotericLindy

Understanding Rosenberg (1 of 2) “…much related writing came out of Germany after Hitler assumed power in 1933, but in 1930 there were no legions of NS scholars. Rosenberg was largely on his own, drawing from a vast knowledge of history and integrating it into a National Socialist and racialist ideology — indeed, largely creating such an ideology.” — Dr. Thomas Dalton, from the Introduction to The Myth of the Twentieth Century [NS-Requiem Publications Edition, p. 25, 2022]

When did people start calling Adolf Hitler the Führer? (2 of 2) When I read this passage from Wagener’s memoir I could have sworn I read a similar passage about Hitler’s closest associates and most loyal followers addressing him as Führer from another book before, and the timeframe was around his stay at Landsberg in 1924, or shortly thereafter in 1925. I thought the passage I was thinking of was from Germany’s Hitler by Heinz, but when I looked in the chapter I thought the quote was in I couldn’t locate it. Which leads to my question: Does anyone know of a source that mentions some people calling Hitler the Führer during the time-frame of 1924 - 1925? If I can locate the other quote then we have, first, the organic beginning of Hitler’s title in the mid-1920s, and second, from Wagener’s quote the burst of the greater expansion of Hitler’s title that became common parlance in the early 1930s.

When did people start calling Adolf Hitler the Führer? (1 of 2) “‘To the extent that this is a matter for propaganda, my Führer,’ Goebbels replied — he was already using that form of address, which was gradually being introduced into the party, having started in late 1931 at the suggestion of Hierl, then head of [Organizational] Section II of the party…” — from Hitler: Memoirs of a Confidant (first written in 1946) by Otto Wagener [Yale University Press Edition, edited by Henry Ashby Turner, Jr., translated by Ruth Hein, 1985, p. 309]

I’m going to start a folder of all the comparisons people make to Hitler. I’ve been hearing these comparisons for years. I should have started the folder a long time ago.
