በአለም ትልቁ የመርከብ ድርጅት ወደ አፍሪካ ተመለሰ የዓለም ሁለተኛው ትልቁ የኮንቴይነር መርከብ ድርጅት የሆነው ኤ.ፒ. ሞለር-ማርስክ በቀይ ባህር ውስጥ በንግድ መርከቦች ላይ ከደረሰው ጥቃት በኋላ ለሦስት ዓመታት ያህል ተቋርጦ የነበረውን የሱዌዝ ካናል አገልግሎት በከፊል እያስጀመረ መሆኑ ተገልጿል። የዴንማርኩ ግዙፍ የባህር ትራንስፖርት ኩባንያ፣ ከጀርመኑ ሃፓግ-ሎይድ ጋር በጋራ የሚያከናውነውን የኤኤ15 (AE15) የእስያ-አውሮፓ መስመር አገልግሎት እንደሚያድስ ካስታወቀ ቀናት ባልሞሉ ጊዜ ውስጥ፣ የመካከለኛው ምስራቅ-ዩኤስ ምስራቅ ጠረፍ አገልግሎቱን በሱዌዝ ካናል በኩል እንደሚመልስ አስታውቋል። ይህ የቅርብ ጊዜ ውሳኔ፣ በየመን የሁቲ አማጽያን ጥቃት አብዛኛዎቹን ዓለም አቀፍ የመርከብ መስመሮች መርከቦቻቸውን በአፍሪካ የኬፕ ኦፍ ጉድ ሆፕ ዙሪያ እንዲያዞሩ ካስገደዳቸው ከ2023 መጨረሻ ወዲህ ተትቶ የነበረውን መስመር ቀስ በቀስ ለመክፈት የተወሰደ ሌላ እርምጃ ነው። ኩባንያው ወደ አጭሩ የሱዌዝ መስመር መመለሱ በኤምኢሲኤል አገልግሎት በምዕራብ አቅጣጫ የሚደረገውን የጉዞ ጊዜ በአማካይ በሰባት ቀናት እንደሚቀንሰው፣ በምስራቅ አቅጣጫ የሚደረገው ጉዞ ደግሞ በደቡባዊ አፍሪካ ዙሪያ ከመጓዝ እስከ 14 ቀናት እንደሚፈጥን ገልጿል።

የኢትዮጵያ መድን ድርጅት በ18.6 ቢሊዮን ብር አዲስ ታሪክ ጻፈ የኢትዮጵያ መድን ድርጅት በ2018 የሒሳብ ዓመት 18.6 ቢሊዮን ብር የዓረቦን ገቢ በመሰብሰብ በኢንሹራንስ ኢንዱስትሪው ታሪክ ውስጥ ታይቶ የማይታወቅ አዲስ የላቀ ስኬት አስመዝግቧል። የተሰበሰበው ገቢ ከቀደመው ዓመት ጋር ሲነጻጸር የ40 በመቶ ከፍተኛ ዕድገት ያሳየ ሲሆን፣ በኩባንያውም ሆነ በሀገሪቱ የኢንሹራንስ ሴክተር በአንድ የሒሳብ ዓመት በአንድ ድርጅት የተመዘገበ ከፍተኛው የገቢ መጠን ሆኖ ተመዝግቧል። በኢትዮጵያ የኢንሹራንስ ገበያ ውስጥ ትልቁን ድርሻ በበላይነት የያዘው ድርጅቱ፣ ይህንን የፋይናንስ ጥንካሬውንና የገበያ መሪነቱን የበለጠ ለማጠናከር ካፒታሉን ወደ 6 ቢሊዮን ብር ለማሳደግ መወሰኑን አስታውቋል።

ብሄራዊ ባንክ ባካሄደው የ100 ሚ.ዶላር ጨረታ የዶላር ዋጋ ቀንሷል የኢትዮጵያ ብሄራዊ ባንክ በዛሬው ዕለት ባካሄደው የ100 ሚሊዮን ዶላር የውጭ ምንዛሬ ጨረታ ላይ የብር ዋጋ መሻሻል ማሳየቱን አስታውቋል። በጨረታው ላይ 14 ባንኮች የተሳተፉ ሲሆን፣ የነበራቸው አጠቃላይ ፍላጎት ከ160 ሚሊዮን ዶላር በላይ ደርሶ ነበር። ይሁን እንጂ ማሸነፍ የቻሉት ዘጠኝ ባንኮች ብቻ ሲሆኑ፣ በዕለቱ አንድ ዶላር የተሸጠበት አማካይ እና ከፍተኛ ዋጋ 157 ብር ሆኖ ተመዝግቧል፤ ዝቅተኛው ዋጋ ደግሞ 152 ብር ደርሷል። ይህ የዛሬው የጨረታ ውጤት ካለፈው ሳምንት ጋር ሲነፃፀር የዶላር ፍላጎትም ሆነ የምንዛሬ ዋጋ መቀነሱን ያሳያል። ባለፈው ሳምንት በተካሄደው ተመሳሳይ የ100 ሚሊዮን ዶላር ጨረታ ላይ የባንኮች ፍላጎት 236 ሚሊዮን ዶላር ደርሶ የነበረ ሲሆን፣ አንድ ዶላር የተጫረተበት ዋጋም 158 ብር እንደነበር ይታወሳል። ይህ የዋጋ መቀነስ የብርን የመግዛት አቅም ለማጠናከር ተስፋ ሰጪ ምልክት እንደሆነ ተነግሮለታል።
