Repost from @tommyjohniii • Understand this and use this and you just opened up a level of life where you aren’t afraid of living, you don’t feel unsafe in your own skin, you trust and understand yourself and as a side effect others, you see there is no decline in life or purpose even after 50 when the world wants to take on useless, walls from your self imposed prison dissolve, curiosity takes hold, a lightness rolls over you even in times of dire, you find your voice your body has been wanting you to use since you were a child, you’ll realize it’s all within your hands, and this power allows for a deepening in the experience of life that will perfectly infect whomever you wish to let in and those you aren’t aware are watching and observing. We want to be strong but without the inflammation, weakness, trauma, swelling, pain and memory of the training. We want the energy and force of the food but without the effort, work, swelling, inflammation, energy shifts that’s comparing even digesting water or grapes. We want to sleep deeply and dream but don’t want to understand why we don’t feel safe to lay paralyzed in our home next to someone vulnerable as can be. We want new tissue and bone growth but don’t want pain swelling and lymph changes and blood changes. We want to feel worthy but don’t want to feel our chest tighten, our hearts beat differently, the pressure in our vessels to change, and our legs and arms to go numb with a rosey face. We want to share a life with another but don’t want to step out of what attempting perfection or death does to a relationship, with self or another. There’s no getting around it. Your symptoms and injuries are here to stay baby. Better learn how to use them, accept them, understand them, change with them, and hold them than a life of trying to cure, fix or prevent them. You’ll miss life attempting what’s not human. Symptoms are natural. Symptoms are healthy. Symptoms are authentic. Symptoms are truth. Symptoms are human. Symptoms are purposeful. Symptoms are perfect. Symptoms are yours. Symptoms are the map, the treasure and the next map and treasure. Curiosity over control. Wonder over worry. It’s there. It’s right there. Everyone has access.

This is a big one. It’s in response to all of the people getting frustrated about what to do next with their symptoms or injuries. You’ve endured long enough, you want to believe your body only heals, you know just sitting around saying that isn’t enough, and for whatever valid reason don’t want to go do a one on one of any degree from an Information Session to a Full Day One/Eval. This workshop is for all of you sitting on the sidelines, holding on to the handrails, curious and eager but confused or lost on where to start. Here’s where you can start. Enough to change your life. Enough to change your body. Enough to change your beliefs. Enough to change it all. To whatever degree you decide. This workshop is the pointing into a direction for you to take a blind step for yourself. Is it a Full Day One/Eval equivalent? There’s definitely something missing when a group presentation is given versus a one on one, face to face, deep dive into the individual’s life in real time changing as they change. But this is damn close and a whole hell of a lot more effective than just giving you all blind protocols, programs and a one size fits all do this for that and these for those approach. This workshop will help connect the dots on all other workshops I’ve completed so far available for 21+ day rentals or annual memberships. From Nutrition, Relationships, Muscle/Training, Spinal Hygiene to Hormones/Menopause/Andropause & Mental Health. This workshop connects the dots to the best I can so you have clear next steps in all areas of your life. Also taking up to 3 questions for a Q & A. There will be a replay available for those that cannot make the live workshop so your questions will be answered and you’ll be able to go over the information covered at your pace. Repost from @tommyjohniii • Always been questioned as to why my explanations, posts, content, workshops or visits are so long and stacked. From the moment a client as a joke in the early 2000’s made a Facebook business page for me and I started sharing videos on injuries, disease, training, why stretching and jogging weren’t what they seemed to be, icing in any form delays healing and recovery, and plain water doesn’t hydrate or nourish. Blew some minds open then for sure. But always was criticized because of how lengthy everything was. Especially now when the attention span is smaller, trends are to create quick changes, bright lights, high production, high resolution, makeup, lighting, filters, attention getting words and short bursts with all the boxes checked would help get my information to reach more people. Reach more people. By not being me. Hmm. Simple answer. I do not want to work with people who want quick, surface level, popular, trending, easy, one size fits the masses medicine. Who wants a protocol for their ankle, skin, hormones, cancer, depression and heart. The person who wants a diet or exercise program. The person who doesn’t want to get to know me or I them. I will never turn anyone away, ever. There’s someone my office space here will attract. The version of you deep inside who is over playing the game, over fitting in, over being lied to, over settling, over having no voice, over being written off, over following the black sheep of the masses, over the stories, over being reduced to a test or image, over it all. Ready for sensical, simplified and what always works. I want the person who wants to change, to feel it all, craves to find meaning, knows it’s a process, isn’t in a rush, desiring safety, love and understanding with self, ready to have the conversation with the person in the mirror, wants to do so many pharmaceuticals, chemo, herbs, therapies or treatments, or wants a cupboard full of cookies not supplements, ice cream instead of chlorella knowing full well the cost, consequence and their role in choosing to live any way they want. Their life. Their body. Their medicine. Not the right life, right body, right medicine. Sipping from a firehose.

Repost from @tommyjohniii • N = 1 The only science that will ever matter is the individual controlled trial you run in your day to day called your life. Until science measures you it will not apply. What’s beautiful about the learning curve of medicine is that its muse to be able to experiment and trial and error is perfect. Only with the human body could you poison, cut, burn, remove, replace, radiate, flood, electrocute, laser, bleach and inject and it has a fighting chance of sticking around and healing to having almost no organs left, no original teeth, hair, nails, skin or joints left. It still fights for you. Medicine would never exist is the body didn’t only heal. Imagine if they started there. Understood every organ and cell and symptom and injury was perfect, could never be sick or wrong, would never attack a person and are to be used and understood rather than controlled and attempt to remain unchanged? Bye bye medicine. In all forms. None would exist. Except….yours. Yours has yet to be written. It’s always being edited, upgraded and enhanced. Even if you try to remain unchanged and stagnant your body is still changing rapidly and radically. Touch your body. The parts everyone has criticized. Has cut. The parts you’re upset with. The parts that swell and hurt the most. Touch them. And say thank you. One time. If they didn’t feel that way or respond that way you wouldn’t be here able to feel, taste, touch, remember, reinvent, leave, stay and dream. Thank you body for all we have yet to name and measure and for all that’s coming. Thank you for the billions of processes we know nothing about that occur every second of every day and for all the invisible you create and are responding to for our benefit. Thank you.

Repost from @tommyjohniii • Being a cinephile and watching at least a movie a day this has been a staple move for over 15 years. The move would vary often but the numbers were still high. It’s a low investment so there needs to be higher volume. And these are mindless, but the body is taking the deposits. Over a year, millions of inputs, cellular changes, systems connected, body responds, ground work for deeper and harder work appropriately when the sun is up. This costs nothing. It’s free. It’s a low hanging fruit available to everyone. The payout is huge. Stack enough of these and things become easier so energy can be spent on bigger life changing items, slips turn into successful steps and confidence mysteriously starts to restore in self. Bed ridden or not. Always something to do. You heal you. Body does the healing. You live to learn because of the healing. Most mornings I can’t wait for a meal. REMEMBER REMEMBER REMEMBER Food is celebration. Food is connection. Food is love. Food is art. Food is a journey. Food is sensual. Food is exciting. Food is home. Food is support. Food is shared. Food is stimulating. Food is nostalgia. Food is feeling. Food is a preference. Food is observation. Food is understanding. Food is electric. Please remember food is not a cause of disease, illness or injury. Please remember food is not a cure or preventative measure of disease, illness or injury. How is your relationships with food? What does your body think? One person you can’t lie to…yourself…your body. You can’t eat like anyone else. And they can’t eat like you. Why we’re leading the universe in diets and exercise programs and no more confidence, peace and understanding of our own selves. No 2 bodies the same. No 2 lives the same. No 2 healing responses the same. No 2 injuries the same. This is the opportunity for the individual to understand. Not the masses. It’s fine to desire to want to become an expert in ingredients…but you still must be able to enjoy the meal. If food is a prison we don’t understand healing freedom. Food freedom is a side effect. You heal eating cherry pie. Repost from @tommyjohniii • Today has us knowing all the words around swimming, all the tests and labs to prove we don’t know how to swim, we observe all the videos of all the people who swim very well in an attempt to copy their way of swimming. We speak fluent swimming but have forgotten how to actually swim in water. At some point you will have a “John Wayne” in your life in the form of a boss, wife, husband, friend, accident, coworker launch you into the water. Or your body will do it many times over. You won’t know how you’re going to do it, won’t know how you’re going to figure it out, but you will. Without any of the words, any of the science and tech, any of the data and labs, you will prove to yourself you know how to swim. Your way. And you will thank your body or the “John Wayne’s” in your life for the push. Oh…no matter how much you try to hide not learning how to swim will catch up to you. Thankfully the body is built for aging and change at any point in time. Life begins at old age. It’s when we dump the excuses and the versions who played it safe and did as we were told to fit in and be safe. I do not own the rights to this movie. No matter what your definition of freedom is there’s still a version of it that determines all the rest….healing freedom. Breaking free from being imprisoned by yourself, your symptoms, your injuries, your body. Breaking free from the stories that your body is ever sick or flawed. Breaking free from the stories that your body is against you. Breaking free from the stories that your body is in any way pathological or diseased. Breaking free from the stories that you decline after 50, worthless after 50, slow down and be quiet after 50. Breaking free from the stories that your body keeps score in an attempt to beat you emotionally or physically. Breaking free from the stories that anything heals you other than you. Breaking free from the stories that your entire life could ever be reduced to a lab value or metric or a shadow on the wall in the form of medical imaging. Breaking free from the stories that if you don’t look, feel and act like everyone else you’re sick or something is wrong with you. Breaking free from the stories that your body is only a glob of cells, tissues and systems and each must be meticulously controlled and perfected. Breaking free from the stories that food or wifi cause disease and sun and meditation cure it. Breaking free from the stories that have us fearing grief or resentment as conflicts needing to be resolved otherwise cancer, auto immune and heart attacks are near. There is a prison we continually put ourselves into as we bark the words freedom and hope. The prison of healing. The cell you created. The walls you put up. The keys are yours.
