🎖What happened?- The Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has directed PNB Housing Finance (PNBHF) to halt its Rs 4,000-crore deal with Carlyle Group. SEBI has said the allotment of preference shares goes against the lender's articles of association. ( Allegation is that PNB Housing board members who approved a deal with Carlyle group, had undisclosed connections with the Carlyle group)
