The library, where quiet reigns supreme,
Is not for chatter, laughter, or debate.
What manner of uncivilized boors
Would break the peace with their unseemly noise?
Do they not know the rules of this great hall,
Where silence is the law, and books the king?
Oh, how their idle tongues doth wound my ears and soul,
And make me wish to flee this horrid place.
If they must speak, let them go outside,
And leave this haven of learning sanctified.
How could they not know this common sense,
That speaking here is rude and quite intense?
May they learn to keep their tongues in check,
And leave the library in peace and respect.
Thus do I speak my wrath, my righteous ire,
Against those who would spoil this pure desire.

University of Pisa in collaboration with Addis Ababa University Collage of Health of Sciences prepared seminar on malaria and helminths NTD's from 5-9 June, 2023.
The seminar will focus on molecular approaches, immunology and diagnosis of the NTD's for students and staff. So all of you are invited.

ደግነት ዳንኤል ባሳ ይባላል፤ በሐዋሳ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ህክምና እና ጤና ሳይንስ ኮሌጅ 5ኛ ዓመት (Clinical ll) የሕክምና ተማሪ ነው። ይሁን እንጂ በአሁኑ ሰዓት ባጋጠመዉ የአንገት አከባቢ ህብለ ሰረሰር እጢ በሽታ (C2 –C3 intramedullary spinal cord tumor) ክፉኛ እየታመመ ይገኛል፤ ለዚህም በአስቸኳይ ሕክምናን የማያገኝ ከሆነ በሽታዉ የመተንፈሻ ጡንቻዎችን በመጉዳት ሕይወቱን አደጋ ላይ ይጥላል፡፡ ሕክምናዉም ሀገር ዉስጥ ስለሌለ በአስቸኳይ ወደ ዉጪ ሀገር ሄዶ እንድታከም የሐዋሳ ዩኒቨርስቲ ስፔሻላይዝድ እና ኮምብርሄንሲቨ ሆስፒታል ሕክምና ቦርድ የወሰነ ሲሆን ለዚህም ብያንስ 1.5 ሚሊዬን ብር እንደሚያስፈልገዉ ተነግሮታል፡፡ ይህም ከቤተሰቡ አቅም በላይ ስለሆነ ሁላችውም የአቅማችሁን ትብብር እንድታደርጉ ይጠይቃል።

ጥቃት የደረሰባቸው ሴቶች አብዛኛውን ጊዜ በመሀፀን አካባቢ ጉዳት ስለሚደርስባቸው አልባሳቶቻቸው በደም ይበላሻሉ ይህንንም መሰረት በማድረግ ይህ መአከል እራሱን የቻለ በጀት ስለሌለው ከተለያዩ ድጋፍ ሰጪ እና በጎ አድራጊ ድርጅቶች ጋር በመሆን ሴቶቹ የሚቀይሯቸው አልባሳት እንዲሁም ልብሳቸውን የሚያጥቡበት ሳሙናዎች በተጨማሪም የንፅህና መጠበቂያ ሞዴሶችን እና የውስጥ ልብሶችን ያበረክታል።
ይህን መሰረት በማድረግ ዶ/ር እስማኤል አሚኑ በማዕከሉ ስም የተቻለንን እንድናበረክት እንዲሁም የሰማነውን መረጃ ለሌሎች በማድረስ ድርሻችንን እንድንወጣ ጠይቀውናል
