A dear friend asked me what my favorite Bible is. That’s hard to narrow, isn’t it? We direct our attention to the verses that will help us in all our varied emotions and situations thus our favorite list grows longer on our journey. There’s one verse however that stirs my soul, makes me think of God with awe and wonder: “He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name” - Psalm 147:4 This verse conveys to me that our trust and worship is well placed. The Creator of it all took the time to name His stars! How cool is that?! Determining how many stars, and naming each one shows us His character. He’s not aloof, passive, apathetic. He’s tender hearted, attentive, engaged. Let this simple verse strengthen and assure you. When the world is on fire, when our paradigms are shattered, when our trust is tested, remember the Creator of the universe, the One Who took the time to name the stars, loves you, the one who bears His thumbprint. Hold on to this everlasting truth as we face the onslaught of storms. You have purpose, you matter, you are loved.

My humble opinion regarding the SCOTUS decision regarding Roe v Wade... Now is the time for Believers to seek the Lord. We need to pray. Pray again. Pray some more. And continue praying. I think we all realize this is far from over. If the Supreme Court overturns, this will kick in state laws already on the books to abolish abortion. The leaked opinion is unprecedented, and we can surmise it was for a nefarious purpose. To support murdering a God-breathed life inside the womb is demonic. The demons will be angry. Only God’s power can overcome the demonic. We’re going to need some of that Heavenly power. Now. And always.
