‎CONGRATULATIONS, HOPE ALEMAYAHU.  ‎ ‎Dilla Don Bosco Secondary School is delighted to celebrate the achievement of our former student, #Hope_Alemayahu, who has been awarded a grant by the Unitary Foundation for her project, #Spider_Trace. ‎ ‎Hope has been part of our school family since Grade 1. During her time at Dilla Don Bosco Schools, she served as the Chairperson of the ICT Club, demonstrating leadership and a strong passion for technology. ‎ ‎Last year, she returned to share her experiences with members of the Bosco Coding Club, inspiring our young coders to explore technology and pursue their dreams. ‎ ‎Remarkably, Hope's ambition to work in quantum computing began as early as Grade 9. Today, she is pursuing an MSc in Artificial Intelligence at Chang Gung University in Taiwan and contributing to research in quantum computing and machine learning. ‎ ‎Her journey reflects the power of early ambition, dedication, and continuous learning. She is an inspiring example for our students, showing them that the dreams they develop today can lead to meaningful contributions to science and technology tomorrow. ‎

‎መልካም ዜና ለተማሪዎቻችን! ‎  ‎​የቀድሞ የትምህርት ቤታችን ተማሪዎች በትምህርታቸው የተሻለ አፈፃፀም ያላቸው ነገር ግን  የትምህርት ቤት ክፍያ ለመክፈል ለተቸገሩ  ተማሪዎቻችን የዓመታዊ ክፍያ በመሸፈን አርአያነታቸውን እያሳዩ ይገኛሉ። ይህንን በጎ ተግባር አስመልክቶ ከዚህ ቀደም በዚሁ ማህበራዊ ገጻችን ማሳወቃችን ይታወሳል። ‎ ‎​ይህንን የተቀደሰ እና አብነት የሚሆን ሃሳብ በመደገፍ፤ ከዛሬ 20 ዓመት በፊት የትምህርት ቤታችን ተማሪ የነበረ በአሁን ሰዓት ስራውን እና ኑሮን በውጪ ያደረገ ጓደኞቹን በማስተባበር  የ5 ተማሪዎችን ሙሉ ዓመታዊ የትምህርት ቤት ክፍያ የሆነ 62,000 (ስልሳ ሁለት ሺህ ብር) በድጋፍ አበርክቷል። ‎ ‎​በአጠቃላይም እስከ አሁን በ2019 ዓ.ም. የትምህርት ዘመን በጎ ፈቃደኛ የሆኑ የቀድሞ ተማሪዎቻችን ድጋፍ የ10 ተማሪዎችን ሙሉ የዓመታዊ ትምህርት ክፍያ 125,500 (መቶ ሃያ አምስት ሺህ አምስት መቶ ብር) በመሸፈን ታላቅ አረአያነት ያለው ስራ ሰርተዋል አሳይ። ‎ ‎​ይህንን አርዓያነት ያለው አብሮነት እና ትብብር ላደረጉልን ውድ እና ብርቅዬ የቀድሞ ተማሪዎቻችን በሙሉ በመላው የትምህርት ቤታችን ማህበረሰብ ስም ከልብ እናመሰግናለን! 🙏✨ ‎ ‎ የዲላ ዶን ቦስኮ ት/ቤቶች የተማሪዎች የትምህርት ክፍያ ድጋፍ አስተባባሪ ኮሚቴ ‎

Because of that, we would like to invite our community to inform students about the International Machine Learning Competition 2026, which is now open to students who want to put their analytical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills to the test. ‎ ‎ 5th Year 9th Round Coding Training Graduation Ceremony ‎ ‎Today, we proudly celebrated the graduation of our young coders who successfully completed six consecutive weeks of coding training during the summer of 2018 E.C. (2026 G.C.). ‎ ‎Highlights of the Celebration ‎ ‎Opening Ceremony ‎The program began with a prayer, followed by inspiring opening remarks from Brother Asfaw, Principal of Don Bosco Catholic School. ‎ ‎Training Report & Project Presentations ‎Teacher Andualem Tsegaye presented the overall training report, followed by impressive project presentations from our young trainees, who demonstrated the knowledge and creativity they developed during the program. ‎ ‎Special Recognition & Award ‎We proudly recognized Student Melkamu Mezgebu, who achieved the highest score in Dilla Town and at our school in the 2018 E.C. Grade 12 National Examination. He was also a participant in this coding training and previously achieved 2nd place nationwide in the 2015 Coding Challenge. ‎ ‎He received a commemorative award from Teacher Andualem Tsegaye and shared an inspiring message with the audience. ‎ ‎Certificate Awarding Ceremony ‎A total of 59 young coders — 29 male and 30 female — successfully completed both the specialized coding training and the 7 Million Ethiopian Coders online training. ‎ ‎Their dedication and achievements were celebrated as they received certificates from our invited guests. ‎ ‎The celebration concluded with memorable photo sessions featuring our graduates, parents, teachers, guests, and supporters. ‎ ‎ Congratulations to all our young coders! ‎Your journey in technology has only just begun.
