3️⃣ Things That Will Decide The Market Today 📈
🔴 GIFT NIFTY traded 18 points higher at 21,942 signalling that the Indian stock market is headed for a positive start today.
🔴 The S&P 500 closed above 5,000 for the first time on Friday, ending with a 0.57% increase, while the Nasdaq briefly traded above 16,000 and ended with a 1.25% increase. This surge was fueled by megacaps and chip stocks like Nvidia, with investors betting on artificial intelligence technology and strong earnings data. The Dow Jones was down 0.14%.
🔴 India VIX declined 2.40% to the levels of 15.45, indicating cool off in the volatility.
3️⃣ Things That Will Decide The Market Today 📈
🔴 GIFT NIFTY traded 25 points lower at 21,759 signalling that the Indian stock market is headed for a negative start today.
🔴 Wall Street saw gains near the 5,000-point milestone for the S&P, boosted by positive earnings and U.S. jobs data ended at 0.06%. Meanwhile, the U.S. dollar strengthened, European equities dipped, and oil prices surged on Middle East tensions. Unemployment benefit claims in the U.S. also decreased slightly, beating forecasts. Dow Jones gained 0.13% and Nasdaq ended with gains of 0.24%.
🔴 India VIX surged by 2.08% to the levels of 15.83, indicating higher volatility.
