HALT v01 H.A.L.T. - Hold-breath, Arm fatigue and Limb Tremor H.A.L.T. makes aiming down sights tiring. Your character has a hidden arm stamina that drains while you aim. Holding your breath, carrying a heavy load, damaged arms and low regular stamina (after a sprint, lets say) drain it faster. As your arms tire, your sights sway more and the sway gets wilder. Press Left Alt while aiming to hold your breath and steady the shot. The more tired your arms are, the shorter you can hold and the longer you wait before you can hold again. Scopes sway the most. Recon by Fire In the base game, shooting from foliage has always been a tricky issue where the enemy either has xray vision or treats the bushes like a brick wall. If you miss, or shoot near enemies, they mostly carry on as if nothing happened. If you hit one, it knows exactly where you are and tracks you through the bush. There’s no middle ground: they either ignore your shots or have perfect knowledge of your position. Recon by Fire adds that middle ground. Enemies react to where a shot came from, not to where you actually are. Nearby enemies lay down suppressive fire on that spot, and distant ones move in or flank to investigate.
