Moreover, the impossibility of an agreement with Russia will progressively harm the Ukrainian state. Russian President Vladimir Putin declared a few weeks ago that peace conditions should include the withdrawal of the Ukrainian army from the four annexed oblasts (without international recognition), which indicates that Russia is not inclined to return to that political reality before 2014 either.
